TD Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 bang looks legit and so does the rest of the cast. in terms of low tier, l doubt he'll be low: he's still cs1 bang in the corner and he still has very good pokes in general. l especially loved that hakumen v. noel matchup. completely shutting her down with corner void > charged shippu. lt was GREAT improv on haku's part. not to mention stopping his own pressure just to 2d noel's 2d. made me smile.

Was all like wtf when the title said Team Kensou though. Immediately thought Texas got hella serious. Bang seems as good as anyone else outside the so-far obvious top chars.

TD Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 -especially- makato... i am going to hate fighting her. im not looking forward to that. on the subject of tiers... not gonna lie, rachel still dosen't look 'balanced' with her lv3 loops making the cut in cs2 as well as her mixup being back, among other great, great things, its only a matter of time before shit hits the fan. l wish matsu (and all the ct rachels) would play more/get back into the game (especially MSY).

TD Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 l WAS going to drop mu on her voluptuous ass once rachel recovered from the cs1 flu, but mu looks awful annoying now and extremely good. everything about her was either a buff or a change, the only "nerf" was her damage (oh wait she dosent do 7k she does 9k)... and her oki... 2-4 primer strings ALREADY with tons of frame advantage and a mixup opportunity. anyone with 4 primers is going to have to kill mu very, very fast.

Nini Heart Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 The funny thing is that Makoto got a lot of nerfs from CS1 to CS2. Her approach game was nerfed with 3C and 214b/C barrier nerfs. Her up close game got better with 5B and I.B nerf though. I'm pretty sure there's nothing retarded that's gonna be found. People know BB now, so it doesn't take as long for the metagame to develop. I predict a drop in Noel and possibly Makoto's tier, and a rise in Rachel and Litchi on the next tier list. Mac: CS2 Makoto. CS1 makoto is almost as stupid as CS1 bang IMO.

I still don't really see Makotos raping everyone all over the place, and despite being strong there's still only a few standout Noels. I do agree with TD that Mu looks really strong. Bang is fine, Litchi is fine, and Ragna is fine, none of them came close to the rachel treatment so i'd like to think they learned their lesson...and jin....well In CS1...if you saw a Litchi or Bang there was a good chance the other player was going to get bodied, in CS2 however you see the supposed strongest characters get owned quite a bit, sometimes by a mystery bang.

huey253 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 dude you don't even know. i play chipp. i land like 3 or 4 combo video like combos and do crazy mixups and then get CH by the wrong thing and lose 95%. tetsu vs r1 was really good. i can really appreciate the level of play in that match. (also a tetsu fan...but) konan is the reason i sub jin ahahaha (konan blade x n)
