I'm drinkin on energy drinks, gettin ready to mess some people up. Show up about 10 minutes late (Which is actually an hour and a half early on tournament time, good read), pay for my venue and I'm ready to go (I also donated to AH3). My first match is with Blackmage, and I realize it's time to debut my Taokaka. The match is intense, there's so many intense mix ups and footsies. It's the last moment, the last everything, my astral lights up. Suddenly, I realize I don't know the input for Tao's astral.. is it charge back, up D, or charge up, back D? My palms start to sweat. I just don't know. I make a guess; astral flash. Black mage, the free mother fucker just committed to a SPARK BOLT. I GOT HIM. I DID IT, the astral flies across the screen so fast, and.. trips before it hits him. he mashes out a punish 720 buffered through his sparkbolt and wins. If Vineeth made a sad face when he got grabbed out of Yukikaze, I made a face that would make his look happy. Anyway, I counter pick Bang like a dick, and it's going well. About halfway through the last round, Copper fucking Dabbit shows up and says "Hey guys, sorry, I just found out that the bracket froze, and the first matches don't matter. So yeah, this is all pointless" So I'm like "Oh, full TROLL mode baby", and mash the living hell out of 6B. I get raped, we wrap our sticks up, then Coopa says "No, that was the AH3 bracket that froze; BB was fine" And I was just.. I was just at a loss. I didn't even know what to say. What could I do, complain that I had just thrown my own match? SO I did nothing. I just took the loss. I was in losers bracket out of my very first match. And I took a vow so deep and burning that I felt myself quickly climbing the ladder to the skill level of someone really powerful (Maybe like Zidane or something, like someone REALLY good).. My first match, Tone. Fuckin just body him like he's nothing. Second match, OrionXElite. By now I'm playing so well that time is literally slowing down. I can see his mix up in slow motion, like a bad horror film from the 80's. It's just too predictable. I body his broken character. Third match. Black mage. And now I know that it was destiny. The stars aligned for the rematch of vengeance. I can see the disgrace that had occurred like it was yesterday, and the emotions are still fresh. I shake his hand, and say "Good luck, sir", but what I really mean is "You're dead, kid". I pulled 5 straight perfects in 2 best of 3 rounds. It was unbelievable. Anyway, I couldn't stop there. Blackmage was only the vessel; Dabbit was the true offender. In true "Yugioh" style, the competitor I was meant to face climbed through the ranks at the same pace. Everyone was getting bodied. Coopa was the last to fall, in 3rd place. There was only me and Dabbit. I think to myself, "I got this" The end. If you missed it, show up next time there's a tournament, jerks. I bodied him
