I wouldn't worry about Zasalamel showing up. His fighting style is entirely unique and he's basically implicated as immortal anyways (judging from his Soul IV ending).

There are still at least six more characters left to show.

Ivy, Cervantes - Unique, Been there since SC1/SB, doesnt age

Hilde, Tira - Unique fighting style, makes sense as far as age.

Voldo - Been there since SB, you knew he was gonna be in.

Astaroth - Isn't human, been there since SC1, Unique play style.

Maxi, Siegfried, Raphael, Mitsurgi - Aged well, all have different fighting styles.

Amy- New name, New style, got older.

Lizardman- Has a new fighting style.

Nightmare - kinda plays similarly to Siegfried . Did SC's iconic villian being in the game make you lose faith?

Hmm I did think first. I want characters who have not been around that long to return before I get the same ones or their kids, who play the same. Speculation with a dose of reading articles of people who played it. I never said anything about why though. Of course it is brain dead obvious when they started bringing people back, who would definitely return. I would not be surprised when they left out the actual interesting people despite how easy it would be to justify the return.

Leaving out characters, or not making new ones that match the fighting styles of characters who've been there from the beginning, is a great way to lose fans and business. It would be like having a Guilty Gear and leaving out Ky and Sol.

Now go back and think first. Do you see a pattern with the characters they're adding? They're keeping all the ones with unique playing styles. Zasalamel has a UNIQUE STYLE unlike anyone else. The logic these asshole are using is "Lets show obvious fan favorites first, with a mix of some of the new/changed characters to get people hyped." Do you really think they'd put Lizardman(Aeon) in and leave Zasalamel out? Back to my question: Which character was SUCH a big disappointment that it shook your unwavering faith? Also, Dont say "these guys have no logic" when you really mean "im whining because they didn't announce my character yet". There's 8 character slots left. Put on your big boy pants, and wait patiently like the rest of us.

Yeah, thats pretty much what im saying. My guess for the remaining 8 play styles is:

-Yun-seong

-Zasalamel

-Talim

-Setsuka

-Seong Mi-na

-New style

-New style

-New style

I doubt Rock's gonna make it in due to age and similarity to Astaroth. They might make a new character with a similar playstyle but that differs from Astaroth's more drastically though.....and that kids, is what happens when you think logically rather than whine. ^_^
