But you play fighters lol. They're shit for the most part no matter how they end up.

Actually I like my fighting games. The only ones I wish I never bought are BB related, but I am up and down on that. The over all dumbing down on the industry pretty much sucks but what can you do...

The final roster is really dissapointing, so much filler and so much potential wasted. It would have been cool to see characters like Bangoo, with so many "apprentice" and "son of" I was waiting to see him, and even Rock is missing.

Still I'm getting this.

complaining about the roster because it doesnt have Bangoo or Rock in it...

uh huhhh....

anyways, this game has many reasons for me to buy it

Hey i beat the best Cervantes in the US and France with Rock. They no longer believe in his low tier rating.

No. For her it was if you dont ring out lol at your health. I do not think any one ever did it to me but I saw it happen on youtube a lot. Same with Algol

I like all the ways I could do it with Zas. I did piss off all my friends who had it but I guess they get the last laugh now eh? Which naturally they have reminded me.

...Well, in the end, I prefer women with big boobs in this game anyway.

Actually, I'm hoping I can make a Female Nightmare this time around.

I have heard the developers say that it was hard to balance out characters like Talim, who has a fast, close-up fighting style that dominated everybody in Soulcalibur 2 so they nerfed it in 3, but kinda got it right for 4. While this doesn't relate to Zasalamel, I can see why they wouldn't add him. Xiba, for example, uses Kilik's style - a long range style that's good for poking and punishing. Zasalamel is similar to that. With the scythe you have godlike range, moreso than staff users. What sets Zas apart from them is that the scythe can not only keep you out, it can also pull you in for frame advantage and stuff like that. With their balancing team going on about making it "more balanced for short-sword users", the answer becomes clear: long-range characters and characters who are either too difficult to balance or have styles that capitalize too much on short range could potentially be broken.

In the end they've stated they have plans for up to SCVII, V marks a new chapter for the series so they want to try out new things, you should never shun a series for progression. I'm sure they have alot of love for those styles and characters, and if we make V successful, we will no doubt see them return in the future.

I do hope I live long enough to see SC7 happen. All the new characters as well as old characters will return, Kilik will no longer be a mimic character, and Inferno will be the last boss again, with his own broken moveset that combines his old exclusive moves from SC1/2 with Night Terror and Abyss's moves, as well any of Algol's stuff that is removed in 5 to make him balanced.

He will also be able to use a special move on the final round when he is K.O'd where he uses a version of Hilde's "hold B for 30 seconds move" that instantly sends you flying out of the ring, provided you aren't dead.
