kagaribito Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I had a reference sprite and tried to click on it for color pasting, but it would always give me black. I don't know if this is just a glitch or if it had something to do with the layers, but it was kind of frustrating. I had the same problem. Just select the layer with the sprite, and save all colors that you need to the Color Swatches. Then, when you'll do recolors, select the colors you need from Swatches. Then you delete them. Maybe it's stupid, but it's simple.

I mean, alone Tao pretty much looks like a heartless so yeah. Collapsed: Anti Tager: Collapsed: Anti Litchi: Collapsed: Anti Arakune: Honestly I really didn't see what the whole point of making Arakune like this since he was already black. Collapsed: Anti Bang: Collapsed: Anti Carl: Collapsed: Anti Hakumen: Kind of obnoxious doing this one with the eyes, but in the end the template I made for him made it easy. Collapsed: Anti Nu: So this was kind of a gamble with the lights on her. So this was kinda implemented on all the Murakumo characters. Plus I'd figured make the lights on each Murakumo like this cuz I'm trying to make it look as Heartless as possible. I mean, leaving them black, to me, would make no sense at all. How the heck does that work?  I dont know honestly, but color picking works fine for me as long as the sprite reference is below the gradient layers/groups, in the Gradient Editor. As far as I know, you will only get black/white color picks if you're trying to pick colors outside the Gradient Editor and on a Gradient Layer.  Can you do I-no's GGXRD Character portrait with dizzy EX color pallette #1 The Angelic White and Blue?  Eventually maybe, unfortunately Xrd isnt on my priorities right now.

Â Collapsed: UNiB Chibi Recolors: Â This all paint bucket recolors (except Hilda) cuz all of these were just flat colors with no shadings... So it was easy. Â Colors (top to bottom): Demon Angel Carmine Light in Darkness Seth Black Crimson Hilda Classic White Vatista Coal Monster Waldstein Fallen Angel Orie Red Azrael Gordeau (I never knew Azrael could turn red...)

I'll admit, some stuff do reacquire gradients to work... Like I just recently made this Carmine(win portrait) template and some of the colors I was giving it looked stupid and bright. Not so good for recolors... :| So if I were to give you the template, would you give it gradients? Â Also, we are still missing Valk, but I guess I said I was making it............ Eeeeeeeeehehehehehehe....... AAAAAAAAAAbout that... I uuuhhh, haven't really been working on that as of recently. ':D Guess I should get back to that, huh? Â I hope Crossfire comes back too man...

I'd like to request color #12 Azrael (the Dogura color, blue skin) in his regular pose. The pose that almost all the pics of him in this thread are based on. It'd also be cool to get the same color of him (Dogura color) as the story mode pose where he has his hands in his pockets. Also, if possible, could someone make a color pallete of his that is mostly black? I mean like regular skin, face, and eyes, but his hair, clothes, and tattoos are a shade of black.  I hope this is how requests work in this thread, thanks in advance.
