BatousaiJ Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Blazblue CS2: Tsubaki Combo Video: Blinded by Justice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKBQVbqgvCM Enjoy! PS. I need to talk to Batousai about video quality. Can you send me a PM or say something in general discussion? thanks Nice work Dae. Some creative stuff in there and I enjoyed watching it. I'll send you a message over PM since I doubt anyone else is really interested in video making and all that jazz here in Tsubaki G~
pktazn Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 Good shit Dae, I like most of the stuff in there :D
HajinShinobi Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Nice stuff, that was a good watch. Those were some crazy damaging combos, man~
Daedron Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Reuploaded the video, it's now smooth as...a baby's butt! I totally went there. Can the main page be updated with the new link so we don't have a broken link sitting there? XD

EdWORLD Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 SBO footage of Konan's final match with R-1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRx6Lw69kTw It's a little choppy and there's no sound but it's finally nice to see it :P

The rest of the fights are in there too, but I think it's SF2 from the 20 minute mark onwards.

The rest of the fights are in there too, but I think it's SF2 from the 20 minute mark onwards. Wow that match was intense. Konan would've won it abit sooner if he capitalized more on that 2 charge corner combo though. But he still won it regardless so thats what matters.
Daedron Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Great match, but shows exactly how retarded Noel is, can't even keep her in the corner cause of LOL2D. Come on Arcsys, she isn't Tager and shouldn't be handled like him ;/ /rant over
BatousaiJ Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Konan dropped a lot of combos there and he really wasn't playing his best in all honesty. Maybe it's the finals nerves but he's kind of lucky that he won playing sloppy like that.
Airk Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Konan is ALWAYS like that. I have a post 4 pages ago where I talk about how he wins in spite of dropping SO many combos. Heck, a few pages before THAT, Errol commented about how dropping combos was a theme for Tsubaki players. Konan would be an absolutely unstoppable juggernaut of destruction if he actually had something close to 100% combo execution. Go watch his matches with Hima that PK linked; He drops TONS of combos (and pays for it.). It just seems like..how he rolls, somehow.
pktazn Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 Yea, he does drop a lot of combos but I can tell he has really good reactions and can hit confirm really well so it makes up for it in a way as well as doing 22x/throw > 236D > 2CC consistently (as opposed to 5B) so that helps him as well.
Errol Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 His matches BEFORE SBO were really really good though. I think he didn't drop anything practically in that batch before SBO? going from memory. I was impressed though.

Maybe it's the finals nerves but he's kind of lucky that he won playing sloppy like that. Well to be fair, R-1 dropped some combos as well. But really, Konan drops a lot of his combos in every match but still recovers from them.
Errol Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Wait a sec, they did the finals on a SINGLE match? whaaaaaaattttttttttttttttt Seriously? what a joke
Daedron Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Isn't that how they always do things in Japan? I still think it's kinda lame though...but whatevs.
EdWORLD Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Wait a sec, they did the finals on a SINGLE match? whaaaaaaattttttttttttttttt Seriously? what a joke I'm not sure, I only put up the last match since that was the only thing I could find. Not sure if R-1 and Konan did anymore matches beforehand.
pktazn Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 There was only one match. The other match before it was the semis of R-1 vs Dora. Dora is a boss though dressing up as Bang lol.
Airk Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 SBO footage of Konan's final match with R-1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRx6Lw69kTw It's a little choppy and there's no sound but it's finally nice to see it :P Interesting observations on this match: #1: Both players burst in ROUND 1. This is unusual. #2: Konan gets hilariously lucky at like 1:37 where his reversal DP gets transformed into a 214A when Noel does an Assault Through.

Andru Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 That one part where he goes for the 2CC DP Whiff combo instead of the 2C Air combo ender when the Air combo ender would have killed, and he drops the combo ...;A;
TD Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 when konan plays a noel, l noticed that he likes to keep at a specific distance, out of noel's range almost entirely but also out of tsu's normal range. what is that about? besides [d] and charging star, l don't see how he can start a good offense from that range. unless he's opting to just react to noel instead?
pktazn Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 He may just be choosing to react against Noel. He does appear to have the reaction speed for it and it looks like he knows the match-up really well considering when I usually see him go against a Noel he does really well against them.
