Shame I never had the chance of playing SnR since it's 360. Guess schmup developers want to be hipster by only catering to the niche 360 crowd. And shtkn, you'll obviously be checking out P4A when you get to Japan and telling us how it is right?

I know Roa does but he comes late, so I'm contemplating whether I should invest in a good monitor myself (Since I'd like to play my PS3 in my own room anyway sometimes), though I can't bring my PS3 since my little brother plays on Friday nights sometimes.
glod Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Frubble has mentioned that they have 2 monitors and PS3s in the back, we just have to ask for them (and do so before anyone else does). So if you want to just bring your PS3 copy of Extend that is an easy extra setup.

But yeah, they have two dedicated ps3 setups there. All we need to use them is copies of the game and to be there before anyone else calls them. The desks are also freely available. Last time we had my setup and Glod's, Shtkn couldn't use his because his monitor stand is at Sanoshi's. That should be taken care of relatively soon. So setups is not an issue. If its just us we'll have 5 total. Way more than we need right now.

What I'm imagining in my head right now is that assuming you and Roa show up, we'll have 7 people and 3 set ups. We'll just leave glod's converter connected to your 360 for the duration of the meetup. If shtkn, Wallace, haki, glod, or Roa want to switch over to you, it'll be no problem since the converter can read their sticks... plus PS3 pads (in Roa's case) if I'm not mistaken. For some reason glod's converter doesn't like my Chun Li PS3 TE Stick so I guess me and glod can just switch sticks for whenever I play with you, which is no problem for me since I've used his stick before. I don't know about glod though lol. But the thing with my plan is that you're basically going to stay with your 360 setup at all times. If anybody has a better setup plan than mine though, go for it.

glod Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 My convertor works with ps3 and ps2 pads and HORI sticks. I'll bring it along on friday, and i can use basically whichever stick, it doesn't really matter to me.

I'm assuming that Box Arena is going to Frubble again and take the setups before us, so us having our own setups to bring at Frubble as a sort of "back up" plan would be nice. Just my two cents.

I can be back whenever, so time is no problem for me. My stick is a Hori Fighting Stick EX2. It's a bit old, and I'm probably gonna buy a new stick sometime soon anyways.
