hello guys i wanted to know if you don't run online randbats in my case i live in Tijuana, Mexico and its hard to find people to play with online, and its sorta hard for me to go to the FRUBBLE to go play i hope we can do some online play and i am happy their is a community in SD i always wanted to find some close and local play in bb

Ok guys, I just picked up Extend for the 360, and a one year XBL gold subscription. I'm willing to try some online play with you guys to see if my connection isn't garbage. Let me know if there is a particular time you're online around.

Verasan, its nice to hear from you! We don't do any online ranbats right now, we're pretty much offline only, except for Hakimaru. But we've been thinking about doing a bit of online practice recently so it is definitely possible in the future.

Thanks for letting me netplay at your place Haki. I feel like I learned a little bit and beating Lambda's dashes is definitely much more clear now. I think when I return from my 3 week absence I will need to play a lot more against Watermelonz and Buddy's Hazamas since that's a character I kind of struggle against still. Also Ichi should learn Mu more because that's my worst matchup and it'd be good to get some experience against that too

Remember to try 6a-ing Hazama's chain in after block if he's doing it from a distance.

I won't be able to do much in terms of online until late summer, but hopefully you can work something out and get some local play in.

haha. all i can say is learn how to move/space with with your character; that's how i'm getting all my counter hits.

Hmmm, I personally think it's more than that. The way you handle my Noel (oh God I'm laughing as I typed this) gives a sense that you have more matchup experience with Noel out of all of us here. And everytime you knock me down, you also have an answer for what I do. For example, backdash > get 2D'd.

When I play with the others, I feel that we're even for the most part, as long as I stick with what I know, plus being smart at the same time, I can pull some wins, but with you, it feels like I have to step out my comfort zone in regards to how I play, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I mean, you have me using Optic Barrel and jump ins more. But the fact that it takes me a LONG time to "warm up" to your Jin just to win just once out of 549797846 times is something I need to work on.

Anyway if you're leaving next Saturday, then you can come again this Friday then? Oh and if I do come to this Friday's meetup, I'll be taking a picture of the front side of Frubble. Assuming Frubble will be our permanent meetup place for a long time, you wouldn't mind editing the first post with Frubble's information and picture? If it's cool with you and everybody here thinks it's a good idea.

Also glod, I noticed how you didn't use Tager's air elbow last meetup. Just curious, but is that his best jump attack in regards to how it can land Tager good combos and/or put him in an advantageous position? I noticed in our first meetup at Frubble, you would use that move so many times to the point where I was just waiting for it so I can punish it for a free combo. Anyway it's good that you're changing the way you play now.

I know it isn't getting enough use out of me. Same for j.D and J.A... and basically anything that's not j.B or j.C haha. I just need to use it wisely, it's useful for many combos but almost always mid-combo rather than at the beginning.

You cats need to come down to Comic Odyssey on Mondays and crush people in either BB, GGXX, Melty Blood, whatever... We're trying to bring in more of a variety of games, so things like this helps...

Plus GGXXAC+ is coming out for psn/xbla, so you know there's gonna be some people getting back on that, so I'm sure people are gonna be there battling it out for awhile...

Shtkn, Comic Odyssey is not for KoF specifically. It just has KoF there, and its usually me, Jinx, and another guy playing. Most of the place is taken up by Marvel/SF4/SFxT. Theres no BB, GG, or Melty, so we'd have to bring it with us. That said, if any of you guys want to show up at CO on Mondays with me, be my guest.

So tonight was pretty fun I'd say. Roa's tournament turned out to be pretty good, though most of those guys apparently don't give a shit about coming to our meetups. Also, regarding the meetups: since a good chunk of us are not going to be around for the next two Fridays, I told the guy at Frubble that he didn't need to reserve a spot for us those days. He was pretty upfront about wanting a lot of us to show up or else he can do something better on those days, namely book concerts or whatever. You can still show up for the next two Fridays but we won't have an area reserved for us. Frubble's owner also wanted us to make a Facebook page for San Diego Blazblue to try and get more people. The vibe I got was that if we don't start getting people we run the risk of not having our spot anymore since there are better things that can be arranged for Fridays. So yeah, everyone please show up as much as possible after this.

About the facebook page that Wallice said Friday, I think we should make it a non-Capcom group instead of a Blazblue only group. Since we all agree that we play other fighters that aren't Capcom's and mostly every gamer in Frubble are Capcom fighters. We can try to separate from us and them and see other people than our usual.
