FerrellJ Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 I have never done Morgan's before because I don't understand what the command is trying to say. It's just down-back charge to forward-down, down-back again, then up forward. Examu's always been a bit of a punk when it comes to super inputs. I don't what kind of sadist came up with the idea for Saki's Critical Heart in AH.
Luis Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Examu's always been a bit of a punk when it comes to super inputs. You know what's funny? Examu even knows it because one of the trophies is called "Stupid Commands". It's where you use Riannon's Fighting Sorceress, Elemental Cycle or Revitalize.

ehuangsan Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Wat. AP is one of the easiest fighting games to execute on ever. And I say this as someone who is typically executionally challenged to the point where I even shank QCF/QCB motions sometimes. It's the only game I've ever played where I can pretty much do anything I want to from an execution standpoint. Also, nothing out there comes close to Kusaregedo's super motion (698741258CD)
Crimefighter Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 inputs in ap are weird, they're stricter than something like bb but occasionally I get 623x when I wanted 214x somehow.
Daverost Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 and Lilica* Dammit, I thought that was another shrub because the color is off. Even better, but now I'm sad that I didn't recognize her since she's my favorite.
purify Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Morgan's supers are exactly like Guile's. Those motions have been around a long time. As far as the ones that are really harder, generally they're not practical anyway.
Luis Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Have you ever watched the Utawareumono, Tears To Tiara and To Heart anime because of this game? Utawareumono is the only one I watched before USA release and it's my favorite one of three. I already decided who I was gonna main at that time. I'm currently watching To Heart 2 and I can see why they made Tamaki a grappler. She tends to grab her little brother's head, whenever he does something she doesn't like. I'm surprised that Konomi is not the main character of To Heart 2. It's actually the boy that is sitting on the stairs in the school stage on the left. By the way I did Morgan's splash art. I can only do it often on the left side. I'm using a pad. The input for Hakuoro's splash art is B A Down C C and I can only do it with this shortcut. I will hold the C button and after I press down, the game will think I have pressed both down and C at the same time because I was holding C. This makes it so that I only have to press C once to do the move. It's still hard though if you don't move your fingers right. Is it possible to do it without this shortcut on a pad?

Yeah, Akuma players do it all the time. It'd be like A A B Forward C, you just need to do it quick.
Luis Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Akuma's Ragin Demon is really easy compare to that splash art.
Chainsaw Guitar Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Have you ever watched the Utawareumono, Tears To Tiara and To Heart anime because of this game? I sure did! And boy was it ever a waste of time! Everything from them is trash except Tears to Tiara which was decent, but ultimately forgettable. Scrapped Princess did Utawarumono's 'fantasy world that is actually the post-apocalyptic future' story with FAR better execution and has actually likeable characters. Not trying to sound elitist, but DO check it out sometime!
Crimefighter Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I think we watched scrapped princess and tears to tiara and maybe utawarumono back when I ran an anime club. We had a rule against shows based on porn though, so we probably didn't finish them (except scrapped princess, that one was alright and is only tangentially related to porn). I looked up a synopsis of to heart 2 once when I was bored. It just seemed like a normal eroge story. Also it turns out manaka normally just wears a school uniform, not the weird poncho thing she has in aquapazza, so like, what's the point?
Daverost Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 We had a rule against shows based on porn though, Now see, that automatically kicks out my second favorite anime of all time (ef), but in all fairness, there was actually some boinking in the anime, too. Hmm... I was going to be upset, but I guess I can't. I'd ask about stuff like Fate/stay night, but the anime for that is garbage anyway, so nothing of value is lost. I have opinions.
SoWL Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Personally, I'd rather have a rule against watching proper porn rather than watching anything that's simply porn-based. ef is a good example of a show that might have some sex in it, but that's as pure as the driven snow. Ahem. Videogames!
Chainsaw Guitar Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 We need an off-topic board already. I know I'm not the only one who would like to discuss things other than fighting games for a change. :C
Luis Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Also it turns out manaka normally just wears a school uniform, not the weird poncho thing she has in aquapazza, so like, what's the point? Probably because there's three others that are wearing the same uniform. She needed to look different.
Speakeasy Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Hey, don't knock that poncho thing. I would wear it all day.
Crimefighter Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Don't misunderstand, the poncho is great. I just wish there were more ponchos.
ehuangsan Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Back on topic: I have come to the conclusion that Chizuru/Llyr sucks and playing that team against good jp players is suicide.
Grimsley-San Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I found myself randomly playing this game again.
ehuangsan Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I still play online, though mostly against select JP players and friends.
SimaMatty Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I'd love to start playing this on netplay again but I never see anyone on. Do people mostly go on ranked? Or is this game dead?

Dead mostly, but ehuangsan plays this game a lot (he's one of the best in our area from what I heard from watching the NorCal dog fights streams) he should know what time some people are playing online.
Luis Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I'd love to start playing this on netplay again but I never see anyone on. Do people mostly go on ranked? Or is this game dead? lol, you're that Multi/Rathty that's on my friends list. I'm the Hakuowlo/Camyu. I haven't been playing this game. I moved on but still watch matches on Youtube. It's been fun and I feel nostalgic when I think about the old days with this game.
ehuangsan Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I would say your best bet is 7PM to about 11PM EST, either ranked or player match. I do play against certain friends and JP players online on some random weekdays around 1AM EST or so and always leave slots open to random people in player match. Anyone is welcome to hop in if they see it. Most of the random people that hop in drop out immediately after watching because they think that they can't hang with the others, but it doesn't matter just play anyway. We're all just having fun, and it's usually Mojirice or dig1218 running a train through the rest of us scrubs anyway.
