Hellmonkey Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 This thread is very very dead. Like zombies. srk is our home land
TGS Posted September 4, 2007 Author Posted September 4, 2007 srk is our home land Yes, but your av on dustloop > SRK.
Donutholes Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 So did we all somehow disappear from the face of the earth? I just found this thread and I would prefer that it stays alive. I'm in UCSD for college and I know of no one who plays ggac (for wii w/ gc pad sadly D: but im hoping to get the hori stick soon, maybe even two) here. Lets see if we can get together or something.
shtkn Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I'm near UCSD. But I play on the ps2... do you have any ps2 > GC converters or something? I have 2 sticks so if you want to get together, PM me or something. anyways, IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT the fine GG folks at San Luis Obispo are holding a tournament on the 17th of this month, and a contingent of us are going to carpool up there and $make that money$. If anyone's interested, please post up. We do need drivers so any volunteers would be appreciated. Preliminary info on the tourney http://forums.shoryuken.com/showpost.php?p=4459671&postcount=1141
Zaido Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 i am actually curious is there actually any GG Players in Cal Poly Pomona :V...?

H-F Blade Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Anyone in the OC? I'm in Fountain Valley. :| I'm in Irvine.
solitary_kano Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I'm in Irvine. Pretty close. I live in Fontana.
TGS Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 I'm probably the only player stuck in the middle of nowhere.

TGS Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 But seriously, I'm stuck all the way in Southwest Riverside County. Not to mention that no one in my area plays fighting games at all, and the worthwhile scenes are all about an hour drive away from me (an hour north = Arcade Infinity, an hour south = San Diego), which means I only get competition like once every two weeks whenever I go to AI.
Teyah Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I'm probably the only player stuck in the middle of nowhere. I'm a good 8 hours / 800 km away from any kind of competition, so... yeah. I'd kill to have comp within an hour's distance again.
shtkn Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 i live in SD and I regularly drive/carpool up to AI and pulsr's place to play ppl. Sorry dude, but you're gonna have to suck it up and accept it. 1 hr isn't that far for gg players compared to some other places in the usa (and canada).
