W/e I'm more interested in gore and right now it's just bad timing as you said. This summer, a weekend in may when people will be done w/ finals. All possible, but I just like to try and spark interest for it.

Maybe we could reorient the trip in the direction of sherbrooke? Dans le pire des cas, c'est pas la fin du monde. In other news, Jason says he can get us rooms at the Europa which is across the street from foonzo. wtf!? I know you guys reserved, but I think it's still worth discussing. We'd need to give him an answer pretty quickly though. (this is mostly aimed at DerQ and Kaeru, but I thought I'd let everyone know)

I know I already took the reservation at the McGill one and since there's might be 8+ people sleeping there and it's not across the street, I'll make sure they don't end up lost in MTL or anything of the sort. Long story short, I'll stick to my room, more of a comfort zone with the booking already confirmed. So if we ask Jason for rooms, what's the rate? Bargain price? If so, who books it? one of us for other people to take the opportunity afterwards? Advertise it fast and make sure someone else takes the deal ASAP? I dunno, never dealt with such a situation before. It's certainly something to consider, I'm just a bit lost as to how we'd make this work.

Otherwise it's only between Toronto and Montreal: Toryuken and UMAD, which is best already. It's not a rush topic.

It's about a 6-7 hours ride (Maybe add 1-2 hours for picking people up + eating + extra distance from my place). How do you squeeze all that with a full time schedule without taking hours off. I'm thinking of maybe leaving saturday morning super early and save on hotel costs and others. Seems like the best option to be honest.

Just ponder a bit the options guys and all's fine. Since I'd drive/provide the car : 1. Leave after work friday, arrive probably late as fuck friday night. 2 days required for hotel reservation, come back on sunday. 2. Leave saturday early, wake up early, arrive hopefully in between 12:00 and 2pm, 1 day required for hotel reservation, come back on sunday 3. Take an 8 hours bus trip with absolutely horrible schedules, unknown days requires for hotel reservation, come back ??? So really, it's fair to say we'll be there, just a matter (at least for me) as to how we plan our trip. Probably a good idea to wait before going with pre reg though Oh and out of curiosity, there isn't a marathon downtown like T13 right? :P Edited April 12, 2013 by DerQ
