I'm in there, the weekend after that I have an exam on saturday (20th), and then it's ottawa(27th), and then it's toronto(4th), and then it becomes hard to find open sugar shacks iirc.

With this year's weather/winter, it'll be the perfect time too. Even though stuff melted over here, it'll probably absolutely perfect near gore. Reminder, there's one sugar shack about 20 minutes from the place I've went multiple times. I'm not saying it's GODLIKE, but it's definitely worth it. Also, really close to that is a godlike "Fumerie" where you can get some GODLIKE (this time for real) beef jerkys

Oooh... Road conditions near Gore. How is it over there? Bikes can't take any amount of snow at all. There's simply no traction..

Even though they /might/ have a bit more snow, the roads are usually well cleared... not that I've went recently...

Just asked my father (since he drives around these areas frequently for his job), and with today's snow, they had like 1-2 inches over there. I'm assuming there won't be anymore snowy weather by next week... but I don't know if it'd be ride-able. Also be advised that there's no garage... or anything to cover the bike if it's raining.

That's okay for the cover -- I've got my own. Road condition is really what would affect my going or not. 1-2 inches is already too much... :\

But we'll see next week. It's supposed to warm up a good bit, so it might be in the cards. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'll be dodging too tonight most likely, with yesterday's trip to Sherbrooke, there's some things for uni I need to get done. Might show up kinda late like 8~9ish if I get it all done.

1. I'm taking a little break this week and will not go to meetups tonight and thursday. Pro-actively traveling a lot made me want to change stuff with how I play so I want to blow off some steam, recover a bit exhaustion and just try and comeback with a fresher and clean state of mind. Also, it'd do some good considering that the next upcoming weeks will be filled with travels (small or big) and tournaments. On and on, it'll do me some good I think.

2. As for Gore, it's still happening don't you worry and I'd just like to give a deadline. If you can confirm before the end of wednesday, please do so. I'd like to go ahead and make a reservation at the sugar shack so we don't end up being out of luck on this aspect. Usually, when I go there w/ friends, we leave on friday evenings and come back sunday throughout the day/evening. If we don't make it happen this week, I think the next schedule that'll work for me w/ all the tournaments would be in may. I don't mind that, but that's a cross on the sugar shack idea. Usually, a weekend like this can cost about 25$ / person for the groceries. After that, you have your personnal expenses for w/e you want extra. This would also increase a bit with the sugar shack idea.
