Sophisticat Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Urgh, I've been sick all night and have my first class today. I'll be passing by Foonzo, but that's about it. I'll go to foonzo pretty early tomorrow, I only have class from 8:30-11:30. Don't think I'll stay very late though. Since I couldn't do anything productive all weekend, I put some practice into Marvel, 3S, GG, and SSF4 (it's not like training mode changed a lot for blanka). So I'm up to play anything all afternoon if there's someone else who has nothing better to do. I'll bring my stick, GG and AH3. (and nolan's controller) Yay! You remembered. :D Will you be there after 2pm? I think I'll pass by to at least pick up my controller. ----- @JF: It's ok! I didn't mean it that way! I <3 you for <3'ing Spark! No homo, though.

(blade take example XD) well as long as people are hype for GG and get better i won't mind at all :D also i'll be going to foonzo tomorrow after class (i finish at 4 pm) until whatever.... now you made me want to go into training mode with GG and mess around with pot but ped has my ps2 and nini has my GG...... Bibiquadium Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Sadly the main purpose for me coming to Foonzo today was to practice my new button layout and get better control of my stick but ended up staying in training mode all night with the exception of the few rounds with kr3w/kirb, and training room isnt much help to practice mixups/matchups neither is CPU.
kirbster Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Well I practice some blockstrings in training mode. Speeds up the process of actually using them in matches if the gattlings used are already muscle memory to some extent.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted September 7, 2011 Author Posted September 7, 2011 Mixups for me is watch videos, then go play people online/offline (preferably offline) and try to emulate them the best I can. Check the type of mixups people use with said character and try to figure out why they are used so much, maybe tricky to block and safe, compared to what you're trying to do.
