Saturday June 4th Setup 9am Doors Open @ 10am On Site Registration / Tournament Registration from 10am to 12pm Brackets Start @ 1pm Everyone out @ 12am to go party in the heart of Montreal just 2 streets away Sunday June 5th Doors open @ 10am Finish up brackets (if not at Top 8 night before) Finish all Finals we have until 5ish 6ish PM then its clean up time we gotta all be out by 7pm So I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of people who know their clubbing. I can't say I hate clubbing since I never tried it, but I just don't think it's something I'd enjoy. Really depends on what people want to do on Saturday night, though. Still have a lot of time before the event to plan it so everyone can have a good time. please read this : Yeah so this is for after MAT8. I was thinking about going East Coast Throwdown. It would be a road trip similar to Toronto, about the same distance, so similar costs I guess. Depends on hotel fees, gas prices, food etc. but should be somewhere between 100 and 200 dollars, maybe slightly more, I think. The only thing is it's on the other side of the border, so you need a passport. You need a "certificat de naissance" or something similar, so if you don't know where yours is, those are additional delays to take into consideration. Don't wait until the last minute and go "oh shit it won't get here in time". Those who are interested in coming, if you don't have one, start working on it, so you're sure to have it. I think last time I asked about this was in the old thread so please remind me your answers, my memory isn't the best. @Unsanctifier : do you know if you or others from Toronto are going to ECT? @Nolan : ouch. I hope the same doesn't happen on my end. Huge team project for Friday.

I dunno, people from the SF crew in Montreal are hype for that, so I figured it was an event that people that are road-trip distance from it and that like travelling to events might be attending.

I think Brice was interested last time I talked to him about it, so if anyone else wants to jump in and reduce the overall cost, we'd be glad to have come you with us. (just decide soon so we don't get screwed by passport delays) @Unsanctifier : o.O no one else goes with you to MI ever? Their scene seems fun, if only the trip wasn't over 10 hours from here.

I was so exhausted even after the first one that when I walked into the second one, I had to take a 15 minute nap to remember what i learned in class. Also, WTF I couldn't have my box of cleanex next to me when I did my exam. Not even my orange juice, because apparantly I can cheat with that? First it's no drinking orange juice, next thing you know they'll start strip searching me before I enter an exam room. Funny thing is that only my morning exam monitors were this strict, the one's that I had in the afternoon just said to put stuff on the floor. Fucking anal retentive sand niggas. This man knows how to live. Well, clubs ain't for everyone. It all depends on how much you like people, loud music, and getting drunk. It's also not exactly known for mental stimulation. After a while of doing it, the lifestyle'll get to you. It's not something that's sustainable. I don't like the taste of alcohol, I hate huge bodies of people, I do like really loud music (only if it's good, therefor I hate the music they play at clubs). Hence why I don't like clubbing. Also, fuckin' finance teammates dump a portion of the term project on me at the last moment and I have to write it up because it's due at 9am. If you click on the link, you see it's called ECT 3, so it's not as old as let's say, evo, but it's not exactly brand new either. They have a website where you can see the results from their older tournaments, some big names. @Steb : huh hadn't thought of that, lol.

Brice Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 or you could go super awesome and bring a bottle of cola where you prited the label from a special paper to resemble the look of a normal coca cola bottle but you photoshop the label to chenge the ingredients, by your cheats.... so at first glance it's a normal coke bottle nothing on the inside and you have to read the ingredients to know it's a fake... although i never cheated on an exam...

Still, I learned long ago the one and only tried-and-true method that will net you the best results: studying. Maybe I don't mind it because my memory is awesome, but I don't find it needs that much work to be effective.
