We just need to get that Avengers cab out of the way and we should be ok. That thing doesn't even make any money anyway, from what I've seen. Anyway, heading out to Foonzo. Should be there by 4pm or so.
Rhannmah Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I didn't even know wth you were talking about but i did a little research and honestly, tell me with a straight face that -this-(well well, look who's the author of that vid) doesn't look more convenient than the current state of affairs at foonzo. If I didn't know better, I'd think they've been doing as much as they can to push us out without actually saying it directly. I know a bit more on the matter than I'm actually letting on, but suffice it to say that I discussed/complained this with Kirbster about 3 weeks ago and nothing changed, so what I read from that is that there seems to be no volition on the foonzo staff to accomodate us with something even borderline decent, so I think it's time to look for something else.

And yes he did say it to the Smash community back then when they wanted to pack the place on our meetup days and drive us out. And besides, Foonzo changes it's layout pretty often. Wait till the next layout change imo.

What's coming next, the broom closet? The space we have right now is so inadequate that we can't physically fit more than 8-9 people in it, notwithstanding the fact that we only have two setups now, and I'd by HIGHLY surprised if they actually replace the broken monitor. If you really wanna get down to it, it's simply a matter of money. Math --> (amount of things we buy)/((The amount of space we take)*(amount of time we stay)) = not worth it anymore compared to other patrons. Simple as that. We're the faithful regulars that visit on a weekly basis, we buy things, even with the little space that we have we're not bothering anyone, there are plenty of other consoles everywhere else, and I'm sure that we bring them more business by spreading the good word (I alone have probably brought over 20 new costumers, about half of which come back and bring their friends with them) that, combined with the tournaments we have, gives them more than enough publicity and income for them to let us stay

Are you satisfied with about 16m2 of space with only 3 setups to cram our whole community in? I sure aren't. If nothing changes, it would seem a good idea to start looking elsewhere. Today was a really great day of poutine, buttons, victories and mirrors of greatness and stupidity. And of course, of Full Boost. It's really a shame I didn't get to try it out, it looked awesome! I'm very proud of this tournaments outcome for myself. Other than not coming dead last like all the other times, I took down the pedrius on my way up! (Hope you don't mind if I gloat about that for a bit, buddy) Brice, enjoy xenoblade. I expect to be kept up to date on your exploits whenever we see each other. (Or whenever something major happens, like a story event or getting a new party member) Other than that, we're having a poutine week day part 2! If anyone is interested who missed it today, Air master and I are planning another thing for tomorrow (Monday) we'd like to know who can make it. We have yet to decide the meeting place and time, as well as where we would go

Kirby dominating at GG came as a pretty big surprise! DerQ, you can send me the list whenever. I'm always down for getting to know more beers. I seriously didn't get in enough matches against everyone tonight. Still need to face Kaeru and Brice among others in GG.

On the topic of when, my classes end at 12:30, so I'm free for the rest of the day, but I'm sure other people don't have my schedule.
