GreeniX Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Beaucoup neige. Telles conditions routières de marde. Wow. AKA your local area may or may not be an absolute blizzard shitshow. Be wary, people~
AirMaster Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Both restaurants were full. RIP poutine week.
Steb Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 RIP poutine week. Had to wait until 9 if we didn't have reservations lol.
kaeru Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 patate depot (on cure-labelle) has the best poutine I've had in 30 years
DerQ Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 RIP coming tonight, got stuck in traffic for 30+ minutes BEFORE getting on the MTL island. Easier to come by tomorrow.
ReynTime180 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 lol. Did anyone go to wherever it was you were supposed to meet?
ReynTime180 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 So what's going on with the tournaments near the end of February?
oDHAOSo Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Looking to be very Ottawa. 1 confirmed car, 2 maybes. 7 people have expressed interest in going.
AirMaster Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Will probably go. Gundam side tourney. Need a partner etc.
Brice Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 i'd like to get my plane ticket asap so it gets as cheap as possible because it's surely going to be the trip killer later on...
RurouniLoneWolf Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I'm definitely down for going to Evo. I was packed and ready to go before you all woke up and got out of bed this morning, lol. Just need to plan the journey.
ReynTime180 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Maybe. Depends on how much everything would cost and if you guys have room for me. I'm definitely down for going to Evo. I was packed and ready to go before you all woke up and got out of bed this morning, lol. Just need to plan the journey. Remember, if you're going to go to EVO, you can't do like you always do at foonzo and sit in the back watching everybody, you gotta plau
Brice Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Maybe. Depends on how much everything would cost and if you guys have room for me. expect at least 1K$ to be comfortable there. i dunno how much it was for pedro and bibi last year though
RurouniLoneWolf Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Remember, if you're going to go to EVO, you can't do like you always do at foonzo and sit in the back watching everybody, you gotta plau Nah, it's way too late for me to get ready for Evo from a competitive standpoint. I need at least another 3 years to even get decent at this game. My plan is to get knocked out early so I can watch all the other hype matches and go hang out with the SG community and Lab Zero if they're there.
Daisy-Fan Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 expect like brice say around 1K i could love be there but probably not this year,i need to make my passport by now.
oDHAOSo Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 1k is steep... Fuck it though. I'll do the Evo thing at least once
mAc Chaos Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Let's see... the time I went, it was about $300 for a round trip plane ride... another $180 for the hotel stay (my share, after it was split 3 ways), and then the food. The food ended up costing as much as the plane ride, lul.
Sophisticat Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 #TeamNAH More or less. :/ Unless I get a gdlk job that pays baller dollars... #TeamNAH.
pochp Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 650 flight 120 hotel 030 taxi 200 food 080 venue + tournaments 1080 total, before alcohol, money matches, other gambling, etc. This is for a Thursday to Monday trip, so you also have to consider the days you'll have to take off. You can save on the flight or on food a bit, but it still remains pretty expensive if you want to enjoy your trip. I'm definitely interested in returning.
Kazuhiro Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I will be going, of course. For both BBCP and USF4. (And take back the $300 I lost last year at the casino. Salty Runback.)
