For what it's worth, apparently the Normal User archive lifespan was updated to say 2 weeks, while the other one was a month or something. I mean, I guess it doesn't change the issue as much, but hey. And now there's Audio copyright muting that includes game audio. Apparently DOTA2's International finals got muted on the official channel for DOTA (a channel owned by the company that made it) for containing music from the game...the same game the company running the channel owned the rights to and made.

That's probably just a big fuck-up and they're gonna fix it soon(hopefully).

I'm talking about all that game audio and Twitch vids getting muted.

I mean, they can't really mean to mute game audio on a GAME streaming website, right?

Right?

Like I said, it's google copyright bots, they do shit that no one wants without anyone's permission. Shoot first ask questions later

Darn.

Could Twitch say no to Google or they just couldn't do anything about it? ( I suppose the latter.)

Google buys everything that involves internet entertainment, and companies takes the money. Money is what's killing it.

I don't think they'll be getting much of it now with that new bad stuff.

Its going to be like the xbone imo. To many people complain. Either they change it back or people just stop caring.

Not really. Google is a successful company. And if they see something is wrong, they'll try and change it. Yes you can say about google+ and youtube comments. It's still not that big a deal. For the people that want to comment they can and only have to click a few things. And for the people that dont care about commenting, dont have to sign up. People just need to calm down and act rational.

Off topic : I passed by the Zo today to get my last paycheck and there wasn't even one of you there. It was fucking empty though, and it made me sad. I really hope their bad decisions come back to bite them in the ass.

I only wish the best for Phoon and Jin. Foonzo has been (and probably still will be for a little while) THE meetup place to harbor our lost souls for the past 3(?) years. Their recent decisions have been questionable at best, they're trying to adapt to their continuous growth in popularity. We've supported each other all this time, and with the recent developments, it's obvious we have to move on soon, as we're getting slowly alienated. I harbor no hard feelings towards this however, and I'd like to have a departing party for when we are 100% ready to part ways with foonzo to thank them for all they have done for us.

On another note, UNiB/BB Sunday?

Foonzo itself. It was/ is slowly pushing us away in order to grow

I might be down. But it depends were.

tbh, im thinking foonzo.

ost of the reason i dont want to leave it is cause it serves food and drinks that you can order if/when you get hungry or thirsty or feeling like you want to get your drunk on.

Can't be dumb if you've never been to the place on a weekly basis for 2 years.

It is not rare for a fighting game player to come in, get told they need to buy something and they order a coke and stay there for 3-4 hours. Some that become aware of it or have it pointed out to them change their ways. That or someone who comes weekly who saves some money to come back next week

It's also not rare to see any other customer come in and ask a pitcher right away, some food and order in the next 2 hours or leave.

We've been "pushed" away because the two days that we are left with have been consistently those where the place is rather empty without the need of exaggerating the statement. It's both a commodity for us and them in a way. We spend less than average, but we'll be there on those dead days every week. Our meetup day was thursday and sometimes we'd be there on wednesday. Two days which you could not say the place was empty on a constant basis. Sometimes is, sometimes not.

It's a lot of really small decisions that leads us to conclude either A) We're less profitable than the increasing expectations they have of customers B) A lot of decisions they've made don't benefit us as weekly customers and from our point of view can only think is to increase revenue from the other customers. Raising prices, reducing the amount of playable setups for us, arcade setups being changed, etc. All over the course of a few months, individually brought up.

Pedro summed it up best. "It's a lot of things that aren't individually deal breakers, but added together". We don't know if there is actual intent, but the perception that we have is that of conflicting needs or of intent. At first, we understood taking a back seat on one of these issues, but when they added up... I hope all their changes work out for them, but I can make with one meetup at someone's place every 2 weeks rather than go there and spend 20+$ on a sandwich, fries and a beer. Hence why I don't want to go, not boycott or damn them to failure. I'll just save money and get what I need from netplay on my end

I preferred as a weekly customer when I could get the above at around 15 or 18. That or when I could get ramen bowls and similar items at 7$. But again, I can argue and defend that during those days, foonzo brought in a lot less customers than it has been those past few months. Conflicting needs ~ So I move on. Simple as that

I miss those 5$ BLTs and Ramen bowls...

Edit: And that's another thing, they were constantly downgrading the menu, trying to be more "bar-like" (but they even took some drinks off the menu do idk) and Creemore isn't there anymore, rip
