 It's about time I start posting again since my roles here in Toronto have almost wrapped up. I'll have to come back here for schooling, but not yet, for about a year or so.

I'll be back on the weekend, it seems I won't be leaving Toronto until thursday. My dad has some shit he's attending and I'm not taking a Megabus with my ps3, Monitor (new), laptop, arcade stick, along with my clothes.

 

Debating my options though, I sorta need to get back early.

Off topic : I passed by the Zo today to get my last paycheck and there wasn't even one of you there. It was fucking empty though, and it made me sad. I really hope their bad decisions come back to bite them in the ass.

I've had my grips with Foonzo for quite some time. I've kept it to myself because I didn't want to sour the times of joy that were overall taking place at Foonzo with how much they supported this scene, which started 4 maybe 5 years ago.

 

I'll probably be more vocal when I get back. But doing a "send off last day at Foonzo" is just bad politics, unless you guys already did it. It's not like some graduation, some people are even bitter about it. It's just like saying "Hey, we found a new place to press buttons and you assclowns have fucked up our ability to enjoy pressing buttons here, so K TNX BYE :D"

It's sometimes better to leave abruptly to really leave a reminder to people when they've "done you wrong".

 

Also, I'm liable to believe the whole knife story, only because to get the police and what not involved in a "tale" is a bit hard to do. In my opinion.

You will one day, Foonzo is a very unique location. The owners aren't quite sure what direction they should head with their establishment. They're growing and figuring out how to grow. I'm certain things happen for a reason like what's going on now. But no one ever said you can't bring a girl to something to Foonzo, just don't go and try to sadlife it there is all lol.

We didn't do an official last day, what we ended up doing was a last thursday. At the time, we were told to move to tuesdays or sundays. So we said it the way it was, let's go back on a thursday one last time. That changed over time, but when we posted that it only meant for thursdays.

OKTOBER FEST in 2 weeks @ Repentigny

 

A ticket for one day seems to be 13$, you can buy them ahead of time for 10$

 

The public bus from Repentigny to Montreal and vice versa is gonna be free if you present your ticket. 

 

Beer samples range from 2 to 10$ and you can get from 4 to 8 oz.

 

There will be "Manèges" and Fair games. There will also be a concert, this year on saturday it seems to be Loco Locass? Last year we had celtic folk

 

From 11 AM to 11 PM on saturday

Depends what you're referring to. You're mistaken if you think this is about the supposed knife attack thing. Me not really feeling like going back is much more about the general feeling of disrespect of our community i've been feeling from the management for a long time, and what led to Monica, Henri and now Kirbster being ex-employees.

Regardless of who would still like to go weekly, once in a while or stop. If the whole group stops going like I've perceived it has, then I feel very at ease to call that cutting ties (At least on our end) And that is regardless of whatever individual belief you hold on about the place. 

 

EDIT: Realizing my point is blurry...

 

I'm saying, I still would be up to gather there à la MK/Injustice guys. Now and then just be a group and spend an evening there whenever it works out and most likely be welcomed to do so

 

While the SF guys on the other hand have arguably cut ties. Regardless of the reasons, sound or not. There was little sense of community watching the few players now and then hang by the cabs. Felt more like... just customers. Decisions roll and RIP the cabs.

Hmmm guess I should say something.

Between being rather busy with work and several things that happened (excluding the knife completely), I just don't have as much motivation and time to organize events there. Except one week where I fucked up, I try to avoid hosting on a Tuesday, I don't want to discourage people from going to Foonzo, but I realize it also has this effect (not many ppl come compared to at foonzo, but then ppl expect less ppl to show up at foonzo, and it's kind of a catch 22 at this point). Considering I can't host the same numbers, as well as the fact that some people don't want to or can't go to foonzo any more, the solution isn't easy.

Anyway, lets have a meetup at foonzo this tuesday, but I don't even know if I can make it. Not sure if we're hosting this week either, since thursday and friday nights are out because we're going to Summer Jam.

My roommate isn't here and I'm lonely??? I can host say wedsneday? I only have one setup w/ no UNIEL, the room is limited (having more than 5 person is... possible but expect to stand. Room is still small even so). I have speedrunners though (Vient-en Brice que je te démolis). I'd see it more as a gathering > Games

first up, derQ, you know im down for oktoberfest, i just need a bit more info on the busing situation, as well, i can probably make it wednesday if you do host something at your place.

 

second, brice, i can stop by your place any time during the week to pick up the daki, and pay you for it. 

 

third, whoever paid for dinner at that amazing chinese restaurant on thursday, i still have not payed. so if you can somehow get in contact with me about it, ill pay you the next time we see each other. 

 

and finally fourth. im sorry for leaving the con so early, something came up family related, and i could not miss it. In addition to being hungover from the night prior, (more like 3 hours before) i did not feel like going to the final day of the con (plus i did not want to spend any more money)

Yeah i saw the info about her and they nerfed and make her weird like my 2B move and 22 moves make a knockback. Everything is way ridiculous with tao i found on her my 2C is slower also i dont have charge anymore from my 2C and my 5C and i dont understand why my jump will be higher j.8D anyway all i can say is they make tao more ridiculous and nerfed 3 good moveset. This is suck really suck
