How would I do that off of 5A, would I need to hit a non jump cancellable normal to buffer the first 360, then 4A then 360C? the way i buffer 720 off of 5a (whiff btw, i still need to work on when it touches something) is 63214 and just when get to the 4 i press 5a then complete the rotation before going back to normal stance then press C. EDIT: dammit axis beat me to it. ;_;

I have never been able to get it to be green off 5A, I think I got it to work once off 2A but I don't remember. Main application for this is to do a pseudo standing 720 by wiffing the A. Like wiff 5A on their wakeup and go into 720. Still, it's not like ticks off of 5B/2B had anything wrong with them.

It's just weird because you have to do it through VC late like dacid suggested. 5A jump cancel cancel into VC 720 works, a bunch of us talked about it before the console release. This guy spent a lot of time conditioning the opponent to not jump after 5A and still only landed it 1 out of 2 tries, but it was a legit tick. Still it's an awful lot of work, and I generally prefer to land a 360B rather than a 720 anyway.

I mean as whole all those Tager shenanigans in this tournament, that was motivational. But sticking with Tager against Arakuhnee surprised me, not to like I can complain about the result. I'll have to add this to the list of gimmicks I'll never be competent enough to learn along with GF>RC>AC mix

OrionXElite Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I didn't know it would be so inspirational :3 I literally just sat down and learned how to do it cause its definitely a useful tool to have cause it makes 5A and 2A just as deadly for tick grabs than 5B or 2B. It also puts to good use my legendary fast hands since as Dacidbro has witnessed, I'm a freak of nature when it comes to IB>720 :3 So if that tells you anything, you SHOULD learn to do this consistently cause its easily the strongest option to use to just end a round. Burst safe, massive damage, don't need to deal with that micro-walk 2B>AC bullshit and it happens so fast no one knows what happened :3
