I'm finally back. Holy crap, i've been gone for a few days and I see flyers and custom osts. Just want you guys to know that as of today i'll be staying in TN just a bit closer to the venue than before, about 8 mins away to be exact. Anyways, wanted to share the news and all that jazz. Anywho HOW BOUT DAT MAHVEL?!! Iron Fist looks fucking amazing. They captured him perfectly (although it's kind of hard to screw him up) and Vergil is definitely Vergil from DMC3:SE so I'm glad they preserved that in the marvel iteration of him and since he is from DMC by default he is going to be top tier lol.

The south really likes SC. My first tournament was at GG, and it was supposed to just be a small gathering that ended up having 30+ people. As for our Blazblue group, I don't expect many to pick it up or stay with it.

Maxi has already been confirmed iirc. Yun Seong will more than likely be in, considering they said they wanted a ton of characters in SC5.

Seiki- Yeah, Vergil's looking pretty good so far. It doesn't seem like he has the utility Dante has, but he certainly seems faster. Plus he has a grounded cross-up teleport that seems to come out almost instantly. Combine with assist or his Hyper with the circling swords and you've got a top tier character in the making. Oh, and since I haven't said anything about it yet, sorry to hear you're so busy. Hope you can make it down to another MTN soon. D:

Astaroth- I know for a fact they at least change his "Fists of Fury" Hyper to do more hits and damage. If you look in his character reveal trailer, it does 10 hits when he randoms it against Dante without glowing fists, but in the video of Iron Fist vs. Vergil, it turns into a ~19 hit Hyper against Chris. I'm sure that's not all it does, especially since there are fists of different colors. I'd imagine it'll work like Ammy's 22x moves, just to less of an extent.

Pickle- Like you had any doubt in your mind when you saw the random I.K. whiff. :P

For a character with a wide variety of things he can do they really went the simple and direct route of "oh just make him hit shit yeah that's unique enough" I think it was part laziness in their decision making because anything odd or complex would require extensive time to balance and prevent glitches as mvc is so good at doing right? Chandler it's capcom we are talking about, I thought we already discussed this. their development and funding is a balance between how lazy can we be v.s. how much money will it make us.

Caleb it's sad that you can't go beyond the simple and most obvious element about Iron Fist but it's ok I expect your mind to work that way.
