Still working on editing and processing videos. Hoping to start uploading some time soon.
Jackie Chandler Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Regarding videos- some of you may have noticed that some of our videos in the past have ended up like this- basically, a box inside a box. The reason this happens is because some of the TVs we play accept component, but won't display video unless I set the cables to a standard TV output. Naturally, I'm forced to record whatever resolution we're forced to play on. However, I was messing around with some settings in Vegas, and it turns out there's a way for me to set the resolution to widescreen without much degradation in quality! So whenever this happens from now on, I'll make sure to process the videos this way. And as for Saturday's videos, I'll go back and re-process them all from the beginning. Sorry for the wait so far.

I don't necessarily know for SURE how much work you all have been doing, but here's some extra tools. Kudos the the ones that have already put in work, keep it up and keep promoting and keep generating hype. This is a flier suitable for printing and handing out to the populace as well as posting. If you're in college, you should spam it in the hallways, on bulletin boards, and on that little post that has a bunch of junk on it with little strips of paper you can tear off. At work, I'm sure you can post this in the break room. If you're still in high school, there's clubs you could be dropping this at, and on bulletin boards, telling classmates, everyone. I even recommend going around to businesses, especially game stores but not limited to them, and asking if you can leave flier to post in their break room and for display on their counter. You'll get turned down often on the counter, thing, but there's always the break room. This is more of a banner for linking people on forums and websites. This is a reddit link that NO ONE HAS TOUCHED IN THREE WEEKS. Upvote, place the url everywhere, do something with it! That MTNG combo video, if we get it finished soon enough, we can use that as a Persona hype trailer. We've already got Michigan (Axis and Brandino), Georgia (ZomB, Eshi, and whoever else they bring), and Ohio (Kyle & his crew) we need MORE people from MORE states and MORE hype, not just for Persona, but for ALL of the events, fellas! Because as far as I can tell most of Liz's combo potential comes from magarudyne shenaniganz. And basic magarudyne combos are already stupid difficult due to character specific floatiness. @King of Bling on reddit - I love how 4 or 5 people actually upvoted, but it got 3 down votes for whatever reason. WTF? r/Fighters is kinda slow, and most of the tournament listings on the front page have already gone by. Dunno why anyone would downvote.

Plus you see so many people flippin their balls over not knowing what to do against half of them. Or just have a huge compilation showing how silly it looks when Yosuke's DP punishes shit like Akihiko's Maziodyne or Elizabeth's awakening grab thingamajig.

You have a goofy grin throughout the whole thing and it doesn't count as hitting you, so Akihiko can't use that tactic to one more cancel and get in, kinda like a 100 heat Chie meteor.

One more for Team Tennessee! On a Persona note: I feel comfortable "enough" with my normals and movement and how they work to start playing how I really want to play. Klein, Zeth, and Patrick saw the work in progress, I think i've worked out some of the kinks to where I feel confident I can play like that, how I feel Yosuke, my Yosuke anyway, is 'supposed' to be played. Chie - Rush down mix up Mitsuru - Rush down poker with anti zoning tools Kanji - Grappler with anti zoning tools Narukami - All-around rushdown with godlike oki Shadow Labrys - Rush down puppet master reliant on cross-ups. Could use a bit more variety, imo.
