BBCP looks like a lot of fun. I'll probably pick it up if I can get a crash course from you guys, I can't remember anything except science.

Edit because the FBI just circled my block.

LITCHI STUFF YES!

-The first hit of 6D is special cancelable again

-New normal, 4B[m]. It's a vertical anti-air, and it launches

-4B[m] can be used in combos

-2B[m] > 4B works as an OTG launcher

-4B[m] combos into ItsuuA

-Hastu has a longer untechable period

-Litchi falls faster after Hatsu > Chun

-She can combo after Haku > Hastu > Chun without a rapid

-4D causes a ground slide

-6C[m] no longer pushes the opponent back half-screen

-6C[m] > 5D/2D allows for a combo followup

-6B[m] > 6C combos on normal hit (Might be crouching only)

-Hatsu > RiichiA > IppatsuB/IppatsuD combo directly, without the need of IppatsuA

-Haku > Chun no longer send the opponent flying, it instead causes a very small ground bounce (We don't know if it can be followed up)

-IppatsuD is now a new move that replaces her Astral input. Litchi falls straight down off the staff, doing the same animation as j.2D[m]. It's two hits and causes a ground bounce.

-New staffless special. 421C. It's like Jam's puffball, but small. On CH it causes a ground slide

-Tsubame Gaeshi's first hits causes the opponent to spin backwards, guaranteeing the final hit to knockdown

-6D[m] now causes a 2D set and 4D[m] now causes a 5D set. (Reverse from Extend)

-6D[m] now causes a wallsplat instead of a wallbound

-Kokushi now has two versions. One is with all the punches into the the spiral (The current version) and the other goes straight into the spiral, but extended. (The new version) They appear to change depending on what set the staff is in.

-6A[e] > 5C[m] > 4D > Haku > Hatsu > Chun > 5B > 5C > j.B > dj.B > j.C works in the corner, it could be possible mid-screen as well.

-Air Throw > 2B[m] > 4B > ItsuuA > 6Kote > Haku > Hastu > RiichiA > IppatsuD works

There's probably a whole lot more, but that's all I got from videos.

Good stuff Woz. It sounds interesting.

Nice, I know you're happy Woz. :D

As unlikely as it is, I hope this means a better/more practical Astral for Litchi, redesigned like Noel/Carl/Arakune's or not.

Litchi's Astral could be combo'd into from all her BnB's that involve IppatsuA, so it's pretty useful. I miss her CT Astral glitch. If you used RiichiA, you could jump off and use her Astral on the ground by doing 4476D, she would do her double backdash and then do it in the air. It looked super dumb. Lol

The second one can only be done with easy specials.

Hakumen's drives are blockable now? Oh, that's okay, I'll just 6D mid-blockstring like usual-- Wait, 6D isn't active until around 10f? FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Looks like all we can do is react to overheads now. We're losing corner damage and gaining mid screen. . . Hakumen still sounds interesting, I'll just have to see how he feels.

also, lol@ japan's haku players grieving for the loss of mugen. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR HAVING RIDICULOUS EXECUTION. Is it just me, or is it scary that they can count frames mid-game?

I count frames when I go for tick throws in Kof. =o each character has a different tick throw invulnerable period, so it's important to me.

What do you mean by counting frames mid-game? That seems humanly impossible. If you mean knowing frame data and memorizing it for movesets, that makes sense.

Japanese players participating in the loctests were able to notice minute differences in the frames of some of Hakumen's normals. Somehow they were even capable of guessing about how many frames certain moves now have (such as 6D only being active after 10 frames). Either they have godlike eyesight, or I guess they might have done the math using instant blocks and a normal from a character whose frame data didn't change.

Heh, my ps2 won't read any of my discs other than Guilty Gear. This must be fate. :@

New BB character, Izayoi:

Wow, so she's a playable character after all. That's awesome. Her design does kind of look like the "Tsubakumo" some people were anticipating, haha.

On a completely unrelated note, has anyone heard the new sound effects for getting hit in CP? It sounds to me like everyone's clothes is made out of Dorito's when they get hit, and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I was looking for a "This running gag isn't very funny anymore" and accidentally got tuned into an anime "Is this a zombie?" so i'll be looking into this, instead. A tsundere girl gets slapped in the face after making a smart alec comment so I approve.

Edit: I hate the tsundere archetype. I think they are asinine and trite. The characters are never interesting.

I couldn't decide between posting a funny picture or doing a tsun impression, so i'll do both.

Also: No, I'm not.

But you're tsundere for Justin

No! She transcends the limits of the paltry Murakumo system! SHE. IS. GUNDAM!

Can't wait to play the new Hazama. His Overdrive is definitely going to open up new stylish combo opportunities/blockstrings since the chains have max hitstun regardless of length.

I hope to make to Kaos tomorrow, but I can only be there from about 8 to midnight. What time are games there? I can't remember.

Life is really busy and pretty touch and go right now. Old man problems and such. I think I'll be able to make it to Starsgiving for some amount of time at least. GG at GG on Dec 8 should be good for me as well.

BBCP: I'm excited about the Valk nerfs and changes. I'll pick this up probably, and just play it dirty. Looks fun, the end.

Persona: Miss throwing chairs...

Gear: Paying alot of not Ky. I'm up to 8 I'm decent with. I want half the cast, so I'm taking requests for someone to learn in Gear. Current 8 are Ky Test Pot Axl Jam Johnny Anji ... ok, so 7...
