Right? I don't mean to keep bitching, but I was just so mindfucked I had to put it down in words.
mindfucked about what?

I don't mean people or anything, just the specific in-game situation that's in reference. Just curious. In general though, Liz does need to keep people honest with the few options she has since it's not like she can fall back on anything else...

Yo.... Nice!

But how about this?

Whoa, whoa, whoa, what? You can combo into Astrals out of Green Bursts?

Uri, please. My dick can't handle this kind of stuff. :gonk:

I think I'm gonna pick it up for 360 tomorrow, actually. Kroger's Coinstars are having a deal right now where if you cash in $30 in change or more towards an "Xbox Live eCertificate" (i.e. Microsoft Points) you get another $10 for free. So I cashed in my change collection tonight and now I have like 4000 MSP. BUY ALL THE XBLA!

@Kyle- Is 360 what most of you Ohio guys play on, and/or the dominant online community? Just curious.

Chandler, I tested my Cronus converter last night and couldn't get it to work. Did a recent update kill it for the PS3? I ask because it was blinking an E and a 6, which an E means it's not recognized by the console. Test yours on the PS3 with a wired controller and tell me what happens.

I'll let you know I'm playing DS:R on PS3.

If I had almost $50 in PSN credit instead, I'd consider it. But as it stands, and with Final Round coming up... :[

I actually left my wired controller at Milln's place last MTN, so I haven't tried it with one in some time. But I was playing CoD on the PS3 with my wireless 360 controller last night, so it should be working with that at the very least. Once I get back from classes later today, I'll try it with my wired third party controller and see if it works.

Wait, walk me through your process of getting it to connect, because I'm ultimately trying to use my wireless one too.

Last night, I had the wireless adapter plugged into the converter, and the converter was of course in the PS3. I figured it should be as simple as pressing the sync button on the wireless adapter and syncing it with the pad, but the converter just kept flashing E and 6.

360 Play w/ Me!!!!!

Well, that decides it then~. I'll try to play some with you later this week, even though I'm sure I'll be super bad at the game for a while (and by a while, I mean probably forever :P). I have some school projects I need to be finishing up these next couple of days, though.

Just to make sure, you aren't trying to use the 360 charging cable, right? That and the wireless adapter are two different things.

If you have a wired controller you're trying to use and it isn't working, though, I have no idea what might be the issue. I just tried the converter with my wired third party controller and it seemed to work fine. If you're using a standard wired 360 controller and/or a wireless 360 controller with the adapter and it STILL isn't working, maybe you could try plugging the device into your computer. I can't remember if I had to do anything like that or not, but I *do* know the device has the capability of performing firmware updates through it. Keep me updated on this, I want to help you figure this out.

Lol, I wish the Tager had done it again on the second Distortion.

My intelligence... it's so insulted right now.

But yes, I know that.

Nah, I'm not gonna be able to make it to Fight Night tonight. I vaguely mentioned it in my response to Kyle, but I've got a project due for my Graphic Novel class tomorrow and I'm at home working on it.

You know, I remember you asking in the thread if the converter works with the charging cable or not, and I remember replying back saying it didn't... But I couldn't find the post for the latter. I don't know what happened to it. I'm sorry, Astaroth. D:

If you need one, first party ones are notoriously hard to come by for some reason, but Cronus sells them on their website for $15 here (not sure about the shipping cost, though). Do you have a wired controller you can use for Final Round, though? One of their rules is no wireless controllers. I imagine that's mostly because it's very easy to accidentally re-sync wireless controllers during games and hit the dashboard button, which can potentially screw matches up. I'm sure that wouldn't be an issue if you'd need the converter to actually sync your controller to a console, but I don't know if they're going to be the kind to say "rules are rules," either.

Nah, I'm sure it'll be fine, because if the pad accidentally turns on, it will try to sync back to the converter and not a nearby system. I've got a wired controller too.

Luckily, I'm hanging out with some friends Friday. Testing it on their PS3 will give me more time.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. Better to ask forgiveness than permission anyway, right? :P Hope your time with the converter goes well on Friday. I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts on it, too.
