Milln Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 I dunno, man. The sprites don't interact with objects, the whole thing looks like a flash animation; two objects move together, not one moving the other. Battle system is "okay" so far. I'm waiting till they stop locking everything and not letting me do things they just told me how to do before I decide if I like it or not.
Urichinan Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Tad, I do have one question though. If you get Lil D. FUC, will it be the updated version with the Fate Zero characters in it? Because if so, i'm dropping everyone to play Kirei, the one true based-god. He's the most bad-ass human in the series. Kirei is amazing. I tried him out on the PSP version and his super is just Godlike.
Alphakami Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 The version of FUC I have is 4 years old, ish. I doubt it's updated, and I don't remember any such Kirei. Yeah, Rider fits me pretty well. Lots of ambiguous crossing and resets. Lancer is sweet too, Kyle rocked him all over the mythical land of Kentucky. Congrats on the new TV Klein. CRT as well out of someone's trash pile. 27 inch w/ S-video inputs. More Gear setups. Milln, I'll try to make it out this weekend to get my TV out of your way, and get my shades back. I played SkullGirls at home today. First time I've played a fighter at home in 2 months. Combozzzzzzz...
Klein Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I have this terrible urge to actually netplay in BB tonight, anyone on PS3 gonna be online?

Klein Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I'll play you. Woz, have less friends please. 100 is too many for one man to handle.

Milln Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 From the PM from the Suguri dude I was talking about at MSS(Milln Summer Soiree). The NetPlay is functional, although finicky at times. I'm familiar with how to get 2 working and there are a few image guides that also explain it, but I'll have to either dig a bit deeper or mess with it first-hand if X is much different. The main thing that tends to cause trouble is making sure your ports are forwarded correctly; if you have them open, just trade codes and join when your partner hosts and you'll be fine 90% of the time. Here's an image for 2 that may help: http://i.imgur.com/fO1oA.png Mizuumi has wikis for X and 2 that may also be of use, although they're incomplete in a few spots: http://wiki.mizuumi.net/w/Rockin_Android/Acceleration_of_Suguri_X/Config http://wiki.mizuumi.net/w/Rockin_Android/Acceleration_of_Suguri_X_2/Basics Pad/Stick support is acceptable for the most part, but IIRC there are a couple 360 sticks that require external programs such as Xpadder to work... my Hori FC3 Pro works fine with 2, but your mileage may vary. Make sure you update 2 to v1.3a, and X to... I believe 1.0b? I'll give you the links. 2, v1.3a: http://www.shindenken.org/ordd/AOS2ver1.3aUpdate.zip X, v1.0b: http://www.shindenken.org/src/AoSXEVer1.0bUpdate.zip Main Website for JP versions: http://daidai.moo.jp/ Put the unzipped file in the game directory, run it and click the... first(?) option. That should patch it.
Urichinan Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 GGs Klein in BB and SG. This is for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Onq40q17qx0#t=19m22s
Milln Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 KOF Players: Just got numbers for the mysterious amount of health gained at the end of a round. Keep in mind that each character has a total of 1000. If the round ends between 60 and 42 seconds, you gain 300 health back (1/3 of your life bar) If the round ends between 41 and 30 seconds, you gain 250 health back If the round ends between 29 and 18 seconds, you gain 150 health back If the round ends with 17 seconds or less, you get 100. So keep that in mind if you make a mistake and eat a combo, and are trying to get life back... Or are a giant troll trying to hold on to your character for as long as possible to prevent your opponent from getting rejuvenation.

Listing your regions doesn't mean anything, he's probably just following the normal format. But if he isn't holding two separate tournaments depending on regions, then it's going to be unplayable in certain matchups.

But if P4A has as godly of netcode as BB, playing on opposite coasts should be manageable. I'm not worried about it either way.
Milln Posted July 25, 2012 Author Posted July 25, 2012 Hi guys. How's challenges? Lumin we love youuuuuuuuu!
