H-F Blade Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 There doesn't seem to be any changes to Fritz either. But yeah, some of these changes don't really make much sense to be honest. But I guess these are still subject to change when the full ver.1.10 comes out.
bellreisa Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Does anyone else think there should be a media page on the wiki too? Done. Upload stuff to ftp.mizuumi.net (no spaces in filenames, anonymous login) and it'll be moved to http://akatsuki.mizuumi.net/stuff. EDIT: Also added a friendcodes page, a page about reflectors, and started the faq.
Koozebanian Fazoob Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 It sounds like Kanae and Muraku got worse too... why?
Nekich Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 maybe because Kanae and Anonym tend to win champ over there, in Japan, meaning that they're too good?
H-F Blade Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Just a reminder, the ripped OST is in post #169. One weird thing I noticed is that with Murakumo, if you spazz on 2A, you can only hear the sound effect for his hand with every other swing. I don't remember if this was in the previous versions.
Nekich Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Akatsuki is barely changed (more invincibility for less damage doesn't seem too bad to me) no, he got less invincibility(though i' not quite sure how the manual states it - it's either inv.time is now, for example, 5 frames less or it's now 5 frames and it's less than it was in game's previous revision) and less damage. well, he's still an overpowered SOB, imo. edit: -vulnerability upon landing +2F It should be: "vulnerability upon landing after j.2C +2F" edit2: also, digging the game's manual revealed all move names w/ readings and names for command normals (but only 3 for Anonym ._.), -> in Wiki now. And talking about names, there are still some mysterious moves in katakana with unknown translation. Most likely, they're in Deutsch... edit3:so far H-F Blade's music rip is perfect.
POscrub Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Nekichi: My guesses on the system changes: (I don't play Akatsuki, so test it) -You can no longer block during jump startup. Used to be if you were holding up back to jump, if they hit you with a non low attack during your jump startup, you'd just block their attack anyways. Either that or you were in the air, and air blocked it. This makes jumping out of tight pressure a little more risky. -Normally when you get up after being knocked down, you have a small window during which you're invincible to throws. If you try to parry during this window, you forfeit your invincibility to throws. More forgiving than CvS2, where waking up with anything forfeits your throw window, and harsher than Guilty Gear, where you can't lose your invincible to throws window.

Hmm, this may be it, the manual seems to apply the change to all jumps though. -Normally when you get up after being knocked down, you have a small window during which you're invincible to throws. The same was suggested on SRK too. Cool, it finally makes sense now
Nekich Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 double post/reply to Chibi's post on SRK (as i'm not registered there): How? Are they refering to 'normals' or something else? yes, "normals", 4's and 1's (most likely) Meaning what exactly? I don't get it either, maybe there was an autoguard? And i still don't understand what the "delay" thing is referring to. btw, Subtle (whoever's behind that nick) is taking suggestions via e-mail and bugreports via the BBS. I think he knows english (or at least can read).
Nekich Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 gawddamnit, i'm triple posting again. nonetheless, new vids on kohatsu: http://www.ko-hatsu.com/ the diagram (or how it's called?): http://ko-hatsu.sakura.ne.jp/sblo_files/ko-hatsu/image/aktk-03.gif The final match is Sai (lol?) vs Anonym. Adlers didn't make it. .( edit: tourney replays were posted too. how convenient. http://www.eonet.ne.jp/~subtle/ko-hatsu20070707.zip edit2: jp threads with friend codes - link1 link2
sibladeko Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 There is some silly shit in those vids. Like I want to say the regular USA players are better than a lot of Kohatsu. (Maybe not me though, my win loss ratio is like 1:2, I'm pretty noob at this game.) Fritz lands ABC at 75% full screen? (DAY ONE GIMMICKS) Then gets HIT BY RESURRECTION???? Marilyn does like three correct combos then intentionally does wrong ones? The Sai is very solid though. And even if she completely failed to parry a 75% full screen Fritz gimmick, the Anonym's pretty decent too. Anyway, the USA netplay scene is starting to record their own vids, or rather it seems to be mainly me :V Whatever. Don't have much now, but more on the way from other people sending them to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBt9mfA4D0s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOu-s465XT8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esq39IqhArw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-osgSv9bm94
TheSlyMoogle Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Where can I acquire this game? I looked here but never found it. PM me if it's illegal please.
Master Chibi Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Yeah I emailed the creator because the changes he made seriously urk me, especially in regards to Anonym, where they practically don't make any sense.
H-F Blade Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 To promote the steadily growing scene for this game, there is a youtube account strictly dedicated to Blitzkampf videos here. Simply send your replays to either sibladeko or me.
Guyseven Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Does Anybody know how to save replays that are longer than one minute? I cant record anything longer than that for some strange reason.
Guyseven Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 sorry about the multiple posting, it didn't seem like the message was posted so I posted it again

Nekich Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 SS blog has updated. It syas the new patch is under development and author plans to add several things, like: -add short pre-defined messages to SSMW (like "thank you", "busy" etc.); -some sort of matching code tweak/removal (it has something to do with connection not establishing for a long period of time); -add an option to disable BGM in the title screen (or maybe disable it entirely?); -further balance the characters; Among other things he also plans to release the OST somewhere in September.
Rithli Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Woo, go Subtle Style. Keep those updates comin'. Woo, go Nekich. Keep those translations comin'.
Nekich Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Woo, go sibladeko, go Rithli, keep those matches comin'.
Nekich Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 In other news, internets have been cracked and framedata for the game has been discovered. Currently, it's being transfered to Akawiki. So far, Aka, Sai, Kanae, Mary, Wei and Mura are done.
