Cryingvoid Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Guys, how do I do the 'AB2 finisher' part after 'Gold Burst' in: Taokaka's 8k corner combo: 2[C] FC -> [6]C -> 236[C]C -> 5D~A -> j.8D~A (9x) -> 2D~C -> Gold Burst -> AB2 finisher?
KM Riku Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 AB2->5C->236C->236C->6C->etc. I think you might need 2 gold bursts
Cryingvoid Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 For what? To increase the hitstun? Like in Hazama's 10k combo?

Stan McJeeves Posted July 2, 2011 Author Posted July 2, 2011 As always, Thanks for the updates, Riku. Original post updated. I do have one question though. - j.A->5B->3C->[2]8D~B->5C->j.8D~A loop *de costas pra coner What does "de costas pra corner" translate to? My Spanish isn't too good (if it is Spanish), but it seems to loosely say something like "near the corner" or "back to corner". Is that correct?

Sorry, I also did this post for the brazilian community and I forgot to translate that to english. It means back to the coner (it's portuguese anyway)

Cryingvoid Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Guys, is there any principal to Tao's prorate system in CS2? It is still a bit hard for me to understand, why j.c>3c combo is waeker than j.c>5b>3c ones. And what d's have same hit prorate?
Domethieus Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 (edited) J.2D/JD/5D: Repeat Proration 70% 4D/2D: Repeat Proration 80% P1/P2 are different is the only thing that I know of >.> Edited July 17, 2011 by Domethieus
zibbazabba905 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 After I do the loop (j.9D~a) twice, the third time won't connect, or in the corner, will dash forward. Am I missing a step? Also, when I get someone in the corner and 236AAAAAAD it just ends. Should I be looking for combos that start with D or find another way to finish that?
Domethieus Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 6B+C -> 5D~A -> 5D~A -> 5C works on Arakune as well. 5B -> 3C -> 236C 5D~A -> J.8D~A loop works on Arakune up to 8 reps

BigBadBrownBear Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 When you jump install the cat3, Tao turns around when doing 5D*C CS1 = 2147D would auto-correct in air CS2 = 2369CC -> 5D*C auto-corrects when in air this belongs somwhere on the front page.
Domethieus Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 (edited) Air J.C hitconfirm J.C -> land -> 2D -> air dash -> J.C -> 8D -> 5D~6 -> CS2x1 -> 3D~6 CS2x1 -> 3D~6 -> CS2x5 EDIT: lol I just noticed the typos xD Edited July 28, 2011 by Domethieus
KM Riku Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Doing j.C->2D->5D~6->j.C->9D->2D~C etc or j.C->5C->j.8D~A loop wouldn't be better?
Andru Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Hai. Halp pleeze~ When doing Tao's regular BNB. The ender 3D > 236BBBBB I always seem to bounce away from the opponent instead of staying near them. Do I have to 3D~6 to flip towards them? That usually puts me too high and they are able to tech if I do that :/
Domethieus Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 3D~6. After the 3D, move the stick forward to it forward cancels. Test it out via training mode if you don't trust me. ~D~6 works. It'll connect then.
Andru Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) Sometimes I'm too high or I only get the first two hits of it and such..@a@ I can do the cancel but can never hold the combo together. This is so frustrating, lol. I can hit the dashes between the j.8d's and I can't even hit the ender to the bnb. Edited August 5, 2011 by Andru
Domethieus Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) Who are you practicing on and are you doing the 2D~C -> 8D -> 5D~6 -> J.C ->8D~6 -> 3D~(3)6 -> CS2x5 ender? Where are you dropping it? Edited August 5, 2011 by Domethieus
Andru Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) Practicing on Ragna. And yeah, that ender. I'm dropping it at the 3D~6 > CS2x5. I just hold 3D~3 though (same thing?) Things that happen: 3D~6 comes out, I'm too high for CS2x5 to hit 3D~6 comes out at the right height but they tech before I get a CS2 out CS2 comes out, the ~6 didn't, so I bounce away and only get 2-3 hits of CS2 I think I have trouble doing a 236 motion from holding "3" also sometimes. Looking at my inputs it's saying that I'm doing 26 instead of 236.. Edit: Was able to up my success rate a lot by delaying the j.3D after the j.8D. Will practice more tomorrow Edited August 5, 2011 by Andru
