cyanprime Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 (edited) Alright, so I'm in training mode and I'm watching the input bar turn blue, but when I hit the button (I have L2 set as P + S + H) it doesn't FRC except 1/11th of the time. also why can't I normal RC through when I miss the FRC timing? Anyway, what are some more tips for learning the FRC timing? (Note: the move in question is Dizzy's 236HS, but I don't think that has anything to do with my question.) Edit: crap, wrong area. No way to delete/move it eather Could a mod move this to Beginner Mode? Edited April 21, 2011 by cyanprime
Narcowski Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 If I remember correctly, macros lag. You'll have to either hit the three buttons manually, or input the FRC 2-3F before the bar tells you to.
qwerty Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 icespike is one of the harder frc's dude. the timing changes (not the placement of the frc point, but the actual timing of the button press itself) on whiff, hit and block.
excelence Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 We do have thread dedicated for it -> http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?2805-Icespike-FRC-Help-Thread and like qwerty said ... it'll take a while to get used to it plus u hitting FRC way too late, the frc point is when the bar flashing white not blue (try faust 40f window scalpel super frc to prove it)
Calm101 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I've been playing Dizzy since the release of Guilty Gear X and normally you can FRC the ice spike the moment the mist at the base the spike itself dissapears.
frcflyingjohnny Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Through repetition, you should be able to achieve frcs everytime.
