So, I'm not too sure if I will be playing with Platinum on the day of my tournament . D: I understand the amount of work Sony is doing to rebuild the network and buff the security, but over a month seems like a totally excessive amount of time. Plus, I REALLY FREAKING WANT MY CASTLEVANIA DLC AND PLATINUM DAMMAT! T^T

People have been speculating that since a lot of people have downloaded patches without being connected to PSN that patches might just be done from a normal internet connection. Of course this is just theory though.

Of course this is just theory though. But the patch is packaged with Platinum, isn't it? So maybe we'll be able to download the patch, but we won't be able to spend the money to unlock it =/

Out of all the time that he could of hack the PS3, he chose to do it when Platinum is about to come out.

The thing is i won't because all the games i want comes out for the ps3.
LeFartknocker Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 People who switch to 360 from something like this were just fickle to begin with IMO, I'll take a one-time serious hacker attack on my network over "Cool an XBox 360! hey, why is it flashing red? is that smoke? OH MY GOD A FIRE!". My OG 360 can rot in hell, that thing was only good for Halo and Oblivion, and every time I turned it on it sounded like a tornado was in my room. I think Continuum Shift's DLC is cursed, first Valkenhayn gets shot in the nuts before he can come out for 360. Then Plat gets epicly delayed, and now on the eve of CS2 *BOOM* PSN is dead... plus the main menu used to troll me all the time saying there was new DLC available and nothing had changed (which I'll admit is my own fault for falling for the same buggy incident more than once, but it's the principle of the thing).

I don't think I've ever heard of a console exploding, and I've never heard of any substantial heating issues for the PS3, but screw console wars, shit is like 6 years irrelevant now. As long as I can get SOMETHING by the time Plat/Patch drops, if the store's not up before then, if we manage to get the patch anyways, I'll just distract myself with learning how to combo with Hazama again until then, lol.
