Two questions for my NE bros

1. Should I shell out the money for KOF13? I've asked this before, but I need to know if people have reconsidered wanting to play it. I don't want another AH3 episode where it's hyped up to hell and everyone drops it after a month.

B. Anything buttan pushan casuals happening Thanksgiving weekend? Got a good amount of time off and I need to decide whether or not to come back or not. I still have to meet Kayin and Dio IRL.

I've a feeling that KOFXIII is going to be epic but no one here is going to play it anyway. Yes, what happened with AH3 is probably going to happen again. I want to get it but right now there's just...too...many...games!

And Kayin I really don't netplay that often (read: Never) hahaha. At least, not for fightans. At the moment I've been playing other things.

As far as I know, Casuals are at Whysengard this Saturday, Then the Week AFTER, it's Gobble-Con which I'm not sure if any of you guys are going to or not.

I say yes. This is the first game I've played that feels right since GGAC. I will play it.

I think KOFXIII is a game that appeals to a different group players, namely people that prefer fast paced fighters. The demo felt amazing, tight, and fast, with legit oki. Very GG-like. In my mind the only questions that remain are how well balanced will it be, and how difficult will the execution be. If the game is broken/ impossible for me to perform combos in I will at least play it casually. If the balance/ execution are good I'll finally have a second tournament game.

Crown! We'll definitely have casuals at some point over Thanksgiving break. Come back!! (And play BB)

In regards to KOF, I am going to give it a shot. Dunno if I'm gonna love it or hate it. For the reasons Vyers listed, I will probably like it. Will I pick it up as a long term game? Doubtful, but it COULD happen. Unfortunately, there's no way to know if a game is going to take off or not after its release (especially when it's not a Capcom game), so there's always the risk of AH syndrome recurring. Just be happy that KOF is only $40 as opposed to $80, I guess?

Final comment is a response to Anime USA- y'all should go! Jeremy, Jon, and myself are all going to be on staff in the game room, thanks to the graciousness and abilities of our most Zoobulous friend.

P.S. I hope everyone goes out to Why's this Saturday! I'm HUNGRY

Ugh, I'd go to Anime USA but I can't take anymore days off from class and I'm hosting a party that same weekend.

And I'll start playing BB again once Sextend is out.

I'd go id I had the chance, but I honestly have no idea if I will or not, but I'd be leaning more on the side of 'not going' unless I got a ride and some specifics.

You're in Enfield, that's very close to Springfield, if anyone there is going (if Furok's coming he'd have to pass through your area on 91-S). Glastonbury's about 30-40 minutes south of Springfield. As for Thanksgiving weekend, unless someone else is doing something, I'd probably end up holding casuals based on my biweekly semi-rule, depending on what everyone else wants to do.
