So, we're not allowed to use them in our sigs, right?

Anyway, I love how my color turned out (#14), though it may be a bit too bright. Wasn't her hair pale purple?

I used the actual sprites to make the colors, so it's the right colors, but some look off due to how Plat Ball is shaded compared to how Plat's actual sprites are.

And yeah, can't be used in sigs :c

Edit: also, 14 is gold, so I assume you mean 15?

Punishing with Mystic Momo AA CH, actually still gets us some pretty good damage if we hit them with the physical items and have the hammer next to equip. Just tested it out on Tsubaki, Rachel and on Arakune since they like to be airborne a lot.

Punished Tsubaki's air charge,Rachel's pumpkin summon, Arakune's backdash teleport, and cloud summon near corner

CH AA 214D (Pan,Bat,Cat) > immediate 5D (Hammer next) > 5C > Mami > 6C > Swallow Moon Cancel > j.C > 22C > 6A > 22C > 6A > 22C > 5C > Hammer Loop = 6447 damage, heat gained 61.

without hammer loop you can get 4749 damage with 41 heat gained, plus oki.

6C > Dash > 5C isn't possible in any CSE environment unless you air fatal them. Ground fatal needs a falling j.C before you dash > 5C. CS2, however, used 6C > j.b (or j.c) whiff > 5C > 236B for fatals, so I'm assuming that's what you're referring to.

I meant does it require different spacing between 6B > Dash > 5C then just 6B > 5C . Sorry, tired Symphony is tired.

I love the 22# color, really well done =) Though it's not my actual color I use.

Okay, my bad, it's actually #16 that I use, and I didn't recognize it. It's all because of the black ribbons, which I expected to be red for some reason :v:

Yo damn, three 22Cs in a non-RC/FC combo?

With 100p1 it will work!

I got 7.6k with 100 heat off of CH hammer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYg-jpE2Q_c#t=5m24s okay uh, what.

also ch ground hammer is a great starter, but it's not 100p1. ground hammer is the same p1 as 5c, which is likely 90

oh, well you made the same typo i did. yeah no 6b > dash > 5c is the exact same as it used to be. requires specific spacing, and a dash is needed on certain characters/at certain distances. good judgement is vital. Edited by Cirno

YO....WTF DID I JUST SEE? Was that some sort of kara-barrier cancel from Air Persia? I can't really tell, but that shit looks extremely strange.

i have no idea what you're referring to, but i was talking about how 3c on CH didn't allow the followup. the hazama was somehow able to emergency tech it

Posted

@Cirno: Hazama went into Ressenga and got CHed while airborne, the removal of emergency tech on CH only applies on grounded opponents. I've had something similar happen to me while I was using Hazama's own 3C.

how about that plat v haku matchup being 5.5-4.5 in our favo- wait, that's impossible. funny jbbs games

Posted

Yeah, I just stopped right there after I saw both Noel and Hakumen in our favor... I knew I was being trolled at that point.

Does bubble beat Noel's drive?

If it hits on her startup yes. During the drives active frames it'll break the bubble like any other move.

Posted

bubble beats all of her drives but 4D, and 4D can be stuffed with 3C with proper spacing. naturally though, if she just blocks the bubble, it'll be easy for her to react to your approach with a 4d or 2d (2d beating lows, 4d beating anything else).

Posted

Figured as much. Then is it possible to do bubble oki and cover it with 2A? It would make Plat's life a lot easier. Bombs, Missile, and Cat Hammer are also really good at beating up on Noel in neutral, even when she decides to do random drive. Just suggesting some reason why JP might see that match-up as even.

Posted

I'm trying to figure that out right now too... Honestly, Me and Xie hate this match-up because of the fact that certain combos make her tech early which totally screws up our oki.

Posted

item oki is always great, but getting in the situation to use the oki in the first place is an issue, not to mention having it when you get that chance. more words also:

[4:19:54 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: 6a for 2d but 4d outright beats 6a so

[4:21:42 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: i was trying a bunch of stuff and i didn't find a universal 'noel drive punish' move aside from like

[4:21:47 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: 236a

[4:21:47 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: w

[4:22:14 AM] Ray-Anthony (GammaGearJustice): that works? o.o

[4:22:57 AM] Ray-Anthony (GammaGearJustice): I thought 236A only goes through like....legit projectiles not projectile normals?

[4:23:03 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: it works just fine

[4:23:30 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: it's just finicky and the timing is awkward

[4:23:35 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: for the followup

[4:23:39 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: depending on which drive she uses

[4:23:43 AM] Ray-Anthony (GammaGearJustice): then it can go through Rachel's pumpkin?

[4:23:47 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: yes

[4:23:50 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: it goes through ignis

[4:23:54 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: it goes through most things.

[4:24:04 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: any projectile really.

[4:24:08 AM] Ray-Anthony (GammaGearJustice): I mustve been timing it wrong against Polka and Tari.

[4:24:18 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: well yeah it doesn't have startup invuln

[4:24:29 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: not 1f

[4:24:36 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: it's probbly about 5f in

[4:24:41 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: but it lasts until she lands basically

[4:24:52 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: if you press for the followup though

[4:24:57 AM] Japanese Bird Cooking Spaghetti: you'll immediately lose the invuln

ok goodnight
