Team Tournament

Note: Teams will happen on Sunday during Top 8 of all games.

Marvel VS Capcom 3 (360)

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (360)

Blazblue Continuum Shift II (PS3)

Soul Calibur IV (PS3)

MK (maybe but no interest so far)

Teken (again, no interest so far)

A team will elect a Team Captain. This Team Captains job is get their team ready for their next match. Failure to get ready when called may result in disqualification so please don't let this happen. I personally hate disqualifying players.

Fee: $10 per person, $30 per team

Team Tournament Rules: (People who attended T11 last year should be familiar with this rule.)

3 man teams

No Duplicate characters (For MvC3, Character and Order Lock)

Double elimination Bracket

Team only needs to win 3 matches to advance through the bracket

Matches are NOT best of 3. A teammate loses a match and the other teammate goes next.

If you have no more teammates on deck, your team loses.

During Team Grand Finals:

-Team who won in Winners Finals will only need to beat team who won Loser Finals "Once" to win the tourny.

-The Team who won Losers Finals will have to beat the Team who won Winners Finals "Twice" to win the tourny.

It will not be best of 3 or 7. Time constraint so hope people understand.

If you have questions about the rules, please feel free to ask.

_____________________

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION:

All tournaments will have the following pot split:

Singles

1st Place - 70%

2nd Place - 20%

3rd Place - 10%

Teams

1st place Team gets 100% of Pot Bonus

_______________________________________

BRING YOUR OWN STICKS/CONTROLLERS:

The console equipment will be labeled and registered to ensure its safety. However, please be careful with your sticks. Furthermore, if you know you're attending and you do not have a stick to use, make sure you have a friend who can donate. All singles matches will enforce a 5 minute rule and if you can't find a stick within that time you will be disqualified. This is advance warning and will not be brought up again.

_________________________

BROKEN STICKS/BUTTONS:

If you have any stick/button problems at anytime, STOP PLAYING, get up and inform the director. The stick will be fixed/changed and the match will be replayed. If you decide to whine about the sticks after the match, YOU WILL NOT GET A REPLAY MATCH.

_______________

EVENT RAFFLE

What kind of TTT tournament would it be without a raffle. More info about raffle prizes in the coming weeks.

_______________

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

If you are coming from out of town, please let us know. We want to make sure everybody is accommodated.

For the MvC3 team tournament, does this mean every team of 3 people can only have a total of 1 wolverine, 1 phoenix, and 1 dante?

That you can't hold down an assist button right before the start of the match to switch your order?

That other team tournaments aren't character locked?

That team order for team tournaments isn't locked?

Of course, montreal will be there. Pretty hype for a BBCS2 pot bonus :yaaay:

Sorry guys, I had to create a new thread. I had no control over the other one and news are gonna piling for me to post on a daily basis.

Pochp: You can use whomever for Marvel. But you are stuck with that team and the original order you choose for the whole tournament.
