that was like the worst thing ever. nothing to ruin a day to realize 6C 2D won't work on the thing you're hitting lol.

You know what's even better? You have to delay the DP C slightly in most DP loop combos on Rachel. I didn't know this until recently... she kept being too high in the normal 5B starter corner combo and a couple others. :v: I'm like "Wait so executing this combo perfectly, the way you have to on nearly every other character, is wrong? God dammit ArcSys..." Games were lost because of this. I had no idea that Rachel's air hitbox was strange.

Soon my men, soon, we will have stable combos that do trucks of damage and require little execution. Every confirm is a good confirm for CP Jin lol.

For some reason, I have this worse with Makoto and Tager. :I:

I wonder what other hitbox changes are present in CP.

lo dat stale mid-screen game against platinum and carl since 6C > 2D. Wut do?

Yeah...I have that problem on Makoto, Rachel, Valkenhayn, and especially Tager. Really hate that their aerial hitboxes are so unfriendly to the DP loop.

Let's also not forget that even if you do it properly, they can green burst the DP C, make it whiff entirely,and then punish with whatever they want. :v:

I think I'll take the free 214DC burst bait/punish unburstable followup as a "We're sorry about that" from ArcSys for that one. :P

Why did Hishougeki go through Nu after the first hit? Does only the charged version "stick" to the opponent? I sure hope not.

I think it can do that even in EX, but I could be wrong. I know if you use stuff like 236B at really close range it will whiff completely since it doesn't attain active frames until it passes through the opponent. This is probably a case of being too close and the ice blade traveling too fast.

If so, Hishougeki is still in its start up frames so it passes through without hitting Nu for a while.

Yeah we're gonna have to assume that he was too close. By the way what do you guys think, 3C > 236D possible once again with its new speed? Hell, I can even imagine 3C > 236D(charged) to have some sort of oki potential.

I imagine 3C > 236[D] should have some decent oki potential, reminiscent of Ky. Then again, it may not. We'll have to see! It might not be worth the meter if it does work, which is the only reason I think that the Japanese haven't been using it if it does.

At the very least it seems like he recovers really fast off the uncharged hisshougeki. It'd be super cool if he could do practical combos with it lol.

Can anyone give me a link to 3C > 236D used in a video? Or are we just speculating?

If 3C > 236D works and the recovery is fast enough to use an empty jump mix-up ala CS Jin, then count me in on wasting meter for that reset lol

He needs 25 meter to hit 5K off 6C in the corner? Not so top tier-ish :v: Looking hype though.

By the way, Musou (1) has SMP right? I'd just assume that we can't end our corner combos with it because of that, but maybe it having a followup changes things?

If Musou (2) works even after SMP kicks in, we could get better combos ending with 6D/j.D > normals > ender (resets yo), since, if it doesn't, we are forced to keep Sekka as an ender while it could be used as a filler into more damage if Musou (2) worked as an ender.

I hope you guys get what I mean :toot:

Because damage is the be all and end all of character lol. I don't even see ragnas breaking 4k regularly w/o CT or an RC
