Sphere211 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 US release date has already been "vaguely" told by Aksys, same day as PSVita release Feb 22nd, granted Aksys won't be on that gay ish(trying to do same day release for PS3/360/PSv), they're track record has shown thus far, CT was a 1week release difference, and CS was a month difference, so we can only hope that we'll get EX between Dec.17 - mid/late Jan. To not go completely off topic, Relius is a boss, can't wait to play him If it's seriously more than a month I'd rather just use my savings for importing.

I remember how hype people were for Valk yet I don't see much of them now. I'm planning on it, but I have to play him myself for a bit to see if I really will main him or if he'll just be a sub alongside Mu. lol

I'm so glad ASW decided to go with him for the new character in CSE. You were maining him before he was playable and cool. I admit I'll probably mess around with him in training, mainly for matchup experience.

Yeah I remember how Valk was everywhere and now there's like two of them. Same with the Nu-13>Lambda Transition. Once people realized they had to work for a win, the amount of Lambda's really dwindled. Relius will definitely be one of those characters when people figure out the matchup after a couple weeks. xP Characters with high learning curves are hard to come across, and when you do fight one, it's hard because one- they know their stuff, and two- you don't have too much matchup experience... ;_;

Toasty Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Judging by what I've seen with the corner combos in the vid, it seems that you want to land 236C as soon as you can confirm it since you want to limit how much scaling the combo has going in to the combo. I think combos like #12 and #13 will be our main BnB combos in the corner as of right now, as they get solid damage and lead to either a super, good oki, or returning Ignis to build her bar back up. Even though the damage was covered up in #12, I think it was in the upper 4k range but I would still like to know for sure. Also is it confirmed that the U.S./NA release of CSE is going to be in February? If that's the case, I will import it for the PS3 then just buy it again for the 360 when it gets localized.

A setup like that can lead to a TON of damage, especially in the corner. I can see this being a very powerful use of meter, especially when the opponent is out of bursts for the round.

Duo Bios is scary though, no one can stop her relentless advance. That Carl was smart to use Cantata to buy time til Ada could get there. Man, that first round was so hype, I hope all my future Carl x Relius matches go that way lol.
