On the topic of gender: idgaf about people being a guy or a girl. Play the game. What is in your pants shouldn't matter.

Now, serious time.

I felt like mentioning that I'm glad our community is generally friendly. Even when it trolls it's doesn't (usually) cross the line into being total dicks. My local BB scene has been growing pretty rapidly as of late. As such, the SF scene here has noticed, and has proceeded to troll the living hell out of us. And people think dustloop is an elitist community...I mean, really.

Anyways, enough of this bs I'ma go back to being a jerk. I hate you all.

jk I am mostly incapable of being mean. ;w;

@ Void - Well...yeah, I really can't IAD. Even if I tried :gonk: And if I did, I probably never intended to lol. @ Solar - Pretty sweet : o , well except the SF community trolling you guys and all. But yeah, show them that BB's a good game too ;w; .

Wait you guys can't IAD? There's a motion to it, you don't jump and dash really fast, lol. Do 9-5-6, it's really easy both on pad and stick once you know the trick. It has to be done fast and it's essential to return to neutral (5) between the 9 and 6. Do 7-5-4 for IAD back. Just don't get carried away by IAD forward, it's rarely a good idea, IAD back however is essential to Mu's gameplay IMO.

Solar : Do your best to get along well with your local SF community. If ever they organize a big tournament, maybe you guys can have a side tournament at their event. It's really good for exposure, and you never know, maybe some of them also happen to play BB.

C0R : Moving in with some other BB players... I'm so jelly :sweatdrop:

Oh, most of the Philippine scene can airdash.

I ...just can't IAD for the life of me

Do your best to get along with SF peeps. It happens in every community, there's always gonna be haters. But hey, some of the SF people will even play BB with us now, so... it's an improvement over what they used to think of our game. :3c

Pochp said the truth, Aile. No Mu without IADs. You'll simply get killed against proficient rushers. Though I know what you feel. I've felt that kind of apathy many times, when the move just won't come out, and seems more and more complicated to you. But when I tell myself "there is no other way to play this character, but to get used to this handnumb move/input", it gets better with time. My first such a problem was normal air dash! Just how much damage have I eaten online failing normal ADs for Tao... Later it became a joke to me of course :3 You just need to tell yourself "this is reality, just take it and practice". Be cool and stubborn, and you will gain. Fighters are no magicians with magical hands.

IMO

Mu Boards are becoming popular as hell man. Feel's good.

Also, SF Players that are in tournaments will never truly like BB. They've most likely been with SF since 2 and don't look anywhere else.

Eh... that's not true of most SF players, especially since MvC3 is so similar to BB and most people will play that. On the same note, I've noticed plenty of the same stinginess from the GG/BB community. I think people should play and enjoy all the FG's. They are popular for a reason, and they all have plenty of depth and fun to offer.

lolwut? First time we decide to organize a tournament, a few guys from the SF community decide to participate and one of them gets second place. Said he really likes BB and would like to participate in our stuff more, but prefers SF and doesn't have enough time to come to meetups for both. He still enters our tournaments when he can.

Playing other games also teaches you things that can be applied in BB. For example, the small amount of SF4 I play taught me to tech throws (to a certain degree) and some basic footsies.

Hey c0r, ever see what happened when Makoto's Astral and Mu's laser hit on the same frame?

Do you want to?

Lol this, Dagger G was in our doubles tournament.

Just saying. xD

In any case he's a cool guy. Though most of the rest of our SF community is jerks who WON'T get along with us if we tried. They're like SRK and complain about us being "anime fags." Except rather relentlessly. A few of them joined our FB group specifically to spam the shit out of our wall with comments like that. They continue to bitch about us on their own FB wall as well.

I'd be cool with a bit of trolling though, tbqh, though the whole anime fag thing is getting old, and the spam was annoying as fuck.

Indeed I do. I'll trade you for a picture of my new computer setup. Once I figure out which box my camera is in.

Thank you all for the well wishes, the new place is beautiful.
