Daedron Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 sabure ( ragna ) vs ryou ( tsubaki ) 5:10 - Tsubaki poked out of 5CC - 6B with 5A. I didn't think that was possible. She cancelled into the 6B too late, there's only a 3 frame gap inbetween 5CC and 6B so it shouldn't be possible normally.
Airk Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 She cancelled into the 6B too late, there's only a 3 frame gap inbetween 5CC and 6B so it shouldn't be possible normally. This; Though note that 5C > 6B is now a 5 frame gap and can therefore trade with people mashing certain jabs.
pktazn Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Hmmm... Hope to see more of that Tsu especially if they're (hopefully) going to frequent Alpha Station. They have potential.

MikelAL93 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Excerpts from part 2 of the BBCS:EX Chiba Felicidad 3on3 Ranbat. Tsubaki vs. Hazama, followed by Tsubaki vs Noel (Memory of Tears) Tsubaki vs. Jin (Cross Line)
Kiba Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 That Tsubaki got a little too happy with using j.D when close to Noel.
MikelAL93 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 That Tsubaki got a little too happy with using j.D when close to Noel. You are quite right indeed. Also, you are welcome, I always do my best to help out every now and then.
Airk Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 That Tsubaki got a little too happy with using j.D when close to Noel. A little bit; Only the 2nd time really amounted to much. If anything, I'd say it was some ingenious crossovers on the part of the Noel player, and the fact that Noel can confirm into damage off just about anything at most ranges, whereas Tsubaki needs to be close enough to kiss the opponent before we can land a real combo.

No. Not really.
Airk Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) No. Not really. Let me put it a different way - I see a lot of matches where Random Character X lands some random hit at max range, and I find myself thinking "That's not going to turn into anything" and then they get 2.5k off it. Whereas I never see that with Tsubaki. Instead I see a lot of stuff dropping because the opponent isn't in just the right spot. Maybe it's just my perception, or Tsubaki players just suck at adapting to different positions, or maybe there's something to it. :P Edited February 13, 2012 by Airk
