Is it too long?

1) I like the Tager's name.

2) I'm pretty sad Matsu missed the guardcrush Tempest Dahlia on the Arakune.

He was also likely too far from the wall to begin with. The opponent will only bounce off of the edge of the screen if they run into it early enough in their flight, I believe.

Hahaha.

That Tager got pretty messed up by So-hei. Pretty interesting seeing him delay his overheads. I'm guessing the Tager was trying to IB and would reset the stick to neutral and get hit by the delayed overhead. Can't really think of any other reason the Tager would get hit by such slow mixup, hah.

He played too zoning-heavy against Lamda, though. Got himself hit a lot more often than he should've. The Lamda was spot-on with all those swords, though. Pretty scary stuff.

i liked so-hei's tk iris into 4b. i think the lightning flash helps to mask the beginning of the overhead. that or i'm just talking out of my ass. :v:

No, that's pretty much true. TK iris is also very + on block so the startup of 4B gets covered almost completely.

Also, note meaty 6C against Tager's wakeup during frog oki. Avoids and punishes reversal 720/360 and punishes backdash at the same time. On block you can set a rod with j.236C and keep the pressure going, on hit you get a rod and finish the combo as usual. Good stuff.

Matsu is too nice, especially the way he controls space and his execution. He really is the reason why I decided to stick with Rachel.

I hate how they nerfed Rachel's damage, but despite that she's still looking solid and I'm be sticking with her until the end. It's good to see that players like Rin and Matsu give a Rachel main like myself hope that she's still amazing.

Her damage barely went down at all. In most combos, it's down by a few hundred damage at most.

The change from CT to CS1 was more like 5000-8000 damage reduced per combo.

Interesting combo. There's no real reason to do it over the 3C7D variation, as both give about the same damage (~4.8-5.1k) and meter (~19-24). Having said that, I believe this version is universal to all characters (ie: you do it exactly the same to everyone, unlike 3C 7/8/9D, where some characters fall out of 3C oddly).

The problem with this combo is that the opponent has to be very, very close to the ground when BBL catches them, otherwise George doesn't activate immediately. Miss the timing on that BBL and you'll be whiffing a super through the opponent's neutral tech.

edit: you get less wind regen from this combo, though, so that's a minus.
