Crevox Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 The Asian version states it has English... I assume this is the same as how CT and CS was. That means English voices, and text too? Is that gonna be the same as the localized version by Aksys?

Is it the same as this: http://www.play-asia.com/Blazblue_Continuum_Shift_Extend_Japanese_language_Version/paOS-13-71-bp-49-en-70-4fje.html ? Because this says Japanese language version so I'm not sure and I've never had any experience with importing so...
KD Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Two different asian versions on there. There's the one you linked which is just a japanese language version for those that want to play it now, and one that will use the Aksys english translation and will include support for other languages that releases the same time as the US version.

Aw dang.. well I guess I have to think about what I'll do. 2 months is a pretty long time. Thanks for responding!
someonewhodied Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 So, any word on the XB360 version being region locked?
Linear04 Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 ct version wasnt, cs1 was, cse is probably too
cookiehours Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 I'm confused. Can someone help me out please? I already paid for my BB: Extend copy at play-asia.com. It keeps saying that the payment hasn't been made yet. What does that even mean?! Play-Asia.com order #24340043 from Dec 10, 2011 The order is not paid yet. If you made the payment already please confirm the payment.
bakahyl Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Do you have a receipt or a mail confirming the payment?
cookiehours Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Do you have a receipt or a mail confirming the payment? I actually got some help with it. I think the payment is taken after the game comes out, which is tomorrow. I have the email confirming the order though.
KD Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 playasia is funky with actually getting around to taking the money. Hell they still haven't taken my money and I actually have my copy lol

Zero Shift Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 You should try cancelling it before they charge you LOL.
Moy_X7 Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Questions to those that have imported the game: 1. Are all DLC colors available (unlocked) for every character or just those that you have bought in CSII? 2. If not, are all DLC colors available for Platinum, Valk, and Makoto?
Kurushii Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Unlimited Characters, DLC Colors, and CS2 DLC Announcers are all unlocked through the Gallery point system.
Moy_X7 Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 What's the Gallery point system, if you don't mind me asking? Do you get points by unlocking gallery art or something? That aside, this sounds pretty fair.
Kurushii Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 It's set up like the PSP versions had. You earn points and experience for doing modes (Arcade, Versus, Story, Challenges, ScoreAttack, exc..). Then you use the points to unlock art, unlimiteds, colors, exc. Each thing in the Gallery has a level requirement so even if you have enough points you may still have to level up your profile some more by earning more experience in the different modes. I don't know if online netplay gives you points or experience.
cookiehours Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 You should try cancelling it before they charge you LOL. Well, they sent an email saying they shipped out my copy. Guess I settled it. :3 My goal for Extend is to be more humble towards opponents, learn new characters and improve on my weaknesses. Oh, and not being too prideful in asking for help. I think my pride gets in the way sometimes. But anyway, my copy should come tomorrow.
Fogelstorm Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I just got my copy of BBEX Jap version from play-asia. I didn't really notice there was Asian and Jap version so I obviously accidently ordered the Jap version and all menus are in japanese... anyone have any idea if it's possible to switch language or do I have to live through the stupidity that is me? Other then that I noticed Kurushii mentioned you were gonna do translations? Atleast if you are I can salvage something. I'm not playing much besides challenge, versus, training mode and online so I can navigate but I want to be able to know what's what in training mode and options mainly. Oh man... I'm never doing this mistake again!
KD Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 You gotta live with it bro. There is no such option to change the text language in the JP version, only the voices.
toanenadiz Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 but I want to be able to know what's what in training mode and options mainly. You can just find that stuff out through trial and error
Kurushii Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Im not going to bother translating CSEX menus cause it's the same layout as CS1 JP. Just search for the thread we had for CS1 Translations.
KD Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Yeah the only new things or changes are the two transfer to and upload Vita save options in the systems options menu and pressing R1 or maybe it was R2 to toggle the 1vs1, 2vs2, or 3vs3 shit in online rooms
