I would be willing to drive there on Fridays or Saturdays, at any time (sun up to sun down, doesn't matter). I'd like to play this game, and actually pretty interested in learning it.... but not online.

I'm a couple of hours from Jacksonville, but until I have a reliable method of getting there when I actually want to be there, BB's a no-go. :V

I unfortunately will not be going to Final Round or Red Spark. I need more money and a driver's license would sure as hell help so I don't have to ask someone else to drive me and them say no.

Problem with Friday/Saturday is that there are no events that I know of that happen within the area, usually tournament events take up those slots. The few BB players here consist of:

Myself (usually working Friday/Saturday)

Locate (I'll tag you in a post on FB, he doesn't get on DL and I don't know his schedule during these days)

Thaitanium (Same as Locate)

Oryan & RS RomRPG (Don't mistake him as anyone you think you might know lol, but they were both busy with school previously but one of them is graduating soon so it might be different)

I know there are other players besides this but they keep to themselves ... shitty fucks :x

No problem, if I'm ever off on Fridays or Saturdays now through my new availability at work I'll update you ASAP. If anything also keep in mind ALOT of folk will be heading to Final Round in March, until then online is good for match up experience ? :x

I don't like online for a lot of reasons.... No one talks. And you can't really get a feel for frames.... Like if I block an attack and get CH'd, I have to ask myself, was that previous attack + on block, or was I late to attack, or was it online delay that caused me to get CH'd? Then there's always the chance of slightly adjusting your combos to work online (which then hurts you when you play offline). The list goes on....

Plus, coming from a FG community that actively plays in-person almost every week.... playing online just makes me sad.

The reason most people don't, lag lag and more lag. Nothing is more frustrating then losing because of the connection, though we should have the mindset that we shouldn't be worried about winning online but more so to learn, no one likes to lose.

Yeah ggs Azure. I'm thinking I might use Makoto as my main. I usually don't even use this type of character in FG's, but she's pretty fun....

I understand what you mean fonon. I have a mic though, and coincidentally so do a lot of players... I'm not sure why they don't use them, but I don't because nobody else does. When people ask though, I turn it on. As far as online, I agree as far as pressure is concerned, but because I lose about 47 out of 50 times, I end up just blaming it on being bad. I'd like to improve but as much as I try I can't seem to pressure well and I still can't react to throws most of the time. I guess it's my fault for picking blazblue as my first fighting game. People also tell me to punish certain moves, but I don't know which I can punish or not.
