qwerty Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 DC, you seem like a very silly person. But, I like that in a man.
HIGEKING42 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 it is your fault that you live in mexico.I never saw P4 casuals, but anyway japan had the game first so give it time and then decide.
Lord Knight Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 In comparison to what I've seen at American casuals (including BB) you've got a ways to go in fighting games
DC Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 you've got a ways to go in fighting games If you can't agree that American players are, in comparison, more disrespectful than Japanese players, then I suppose we can agree to disagree. How do you feel about this, Guardian? <3
Lord Knight Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 i might have thought that a year ago, but then i went to japan and found out the truth
DC Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 (edited) Ah I see. I'm sure they have their mashy players, too. I desperately wish feux follets would play this game. I can't even begin to imagine the salt... DC, you seem like a very silly person. But, I like that in a man. Edited July 31, 2012 by DC
Mysterym Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I'm just curious i know almost everyone's going to ZP this saturday but are you all holding casual p4 daily until then? Where the casual at~
DC Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 There are no daily casuals. We were at ZP yesterday because we were SUPPOSED to stream some casuals but they decided not to in the end. Instead I spent like 3 hours explain to 10 different people the mechanics of the game only to have them forget by now most likely. Fun stuff.

You guys going to be at ZP for casuals again before saturday? I'd like to try it out before saturdays huge mass attacks ZP xD

How do you feel about this, Guardian? <3 Guardian's not happy unless we act like training mode dummies, he doesn't believe in other players fighting back
DC Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Feux follets demands respect. He gets salty win or lose. The only way he'll be happy is if we put up our best fight but he double perfects us.
skd Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 he blatantly does dumb things (that work by the way, be it of lag or people not really punishing him for it), and in doing so continues to do dumb things. and then you guys let him win ceo? stay netplay feux, stay netplay.
DC Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 He was in the easy pool, he didn't have to play anyone "good" until grand finals.

Ok, you've been on and on about me doing "netplay" things, yet never provide ANY specifics. I do as I see my masters nezu and minami do and try my best to probe their mindset/reasoning as to why they do what they do in neutral. If it IS a problem, provide details and guidance on how to properly play neutral and break my seemingly counterproductive mindset. If the general consensus was "feux is mad netplay", I would've seriously taken a step back and reflected on my game play outside of offense and defense. Instead of telling me what I am doing wrong, you completely handle this discourse with little measure of respect. I DID ask around about my neutral a long time ago because your comments bothered me, and I was told it was fine. So if there's something i'm missing, enlighten me. Criticism is fine and always welcome, but yours, at least when directed to me, is never constructive--unless you're viewing "construction" as a process which in holistic regard calls for "demolition" also?

DC Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Read Theo's wall of text with a Jamaican accent for dramatic effect.
Guardian Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 What the hell is going on in here? JP players can be hella disrespectful. They're just better at finding set ups and mind games that you HAVE to respect. I'm old school. I think that if you guess right from a neutral/mix up situation, then you should be rewarded and the other person should have to guess. Not "oh i fucked up let me mash srk, cancel, and pressure". Also, I don't agree with this new trend in FGs in which you get punished for guessing right. I've seen this happen a lot more often than it should. Theo, those of us who have played you in person know how good you are. Anyone on anyday can beat someone in netplay. But to get 1st at your very first major? Not may people can make that claim, and no one can take that from you. That being said, BB is fraudulent as fuck. Let's just get ready for the new GG and pretend the past 3 years never happened.
HIGEKING42 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) i agree with adonis. you should not be punished for guessing right. Also of course people mash it's a fighting game odds are, no matter who you are you'll mash. The best thing to do is to find set ups where you say that shit ain't happening. Netplay is really used just to lear MU's and socialise and learn how to fight against a specific character or multiple characters. Most people online ( like me ) love to troll. Also i hate that i main a character that can't play for shit under a 2 bar, so i just use subs. -_- my experience with sed character goes down. Back to the main topics at hand, you did fine at CEO no one else should object otherwise. Even if you were put in the other pool you'd still win. You were doing excellent that day. The things you should be working on is defense, but that's because netplay screws you up. Also you're neutral game is good. Anyways if anyone tells you that you suck again, then they should STFU and drop BB because they suck. Adonnis BB is the only game i'll play from ASW because Edited August 1, 2012 by HIGEKING42
HIGEKING42 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I think that they did a horrible job on BB. I have no interest in GG, because of BB being fraudulent and GG will be the same. I'll definitely pass on p4u because i know i'm right. it will take awhile but it will be confirmed. Plus there really isn't a appealing character in there for me, besides that girl with the fan. She's a zoner right? I suck with zoners. So i'll stick with BB and wait for a more enjoyable game for me. ( i hope DOA5, or another fighter)
Grrr Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 ^ If you're looking for a good 3D fighter, VF5:FS is on XBL/PSN for $15 and is pretty fun.
wilde_jagd88 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 he mightve said nothing, but i know i did LK, you and i have had no such conversation. i DID pm you after our informal ft10 on this EXACT issue(?) only to receive no response. anyway, let's not make this a debate over whether or not things were said for the sake of keeping relevant the issue at hand, and nothing else. in the spirit of relevance, please PM a list of the things that i do wrong that warrant the label "netplay". provide specifics, please, if you have the time to frame all of it. and moving forward, let us not waste anymore time (or pages) discussing how netplay i am.
HIGEKING42 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I always loved DOA. One part because of the women, the other part is that when i was young i used to watch MLG and watching DOA4 was the game i always waited to see. Now that i have a chance to actually partake in such a game i want to play it so that i feel like i can learn a game i had always wanted to play.
Lurrdoc Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I had an interview the other day. They called me back saying to come in the next morning. I think I got the job, but we'll see. If I did... >and they tell me to work on Saturday. >no ZP then. >nwuefnuqenirqnenqw >ffffffff- >...okay. ' A ' :<
