I do. Haven't you ever played against people who sucked at the game but they only knew how to do loops, and you losed because of the loops. I have and it's very annoying. No matter how good i get i still have to deal with scrubs that only know how to loop.

If you're losing to people who "suck" at the game maybe you should take a step back and look at your own play. At the end of the day a win is a win. I don't see how using loops makes someone fraudulent either: learning loops is the same thing as learning combos, sure maybe it's a little simpler but at the end of the day it's kinda the same thing....

As for mashing DP come on man, the game isn't even out in NA and you're saying it's going to be "fraudulent in America". You know what other game has really strong reversals? SF4, and there is nothing fraudulent about the people winning tournaments in that game. People have been mashing DP with Ken and Ryu since the day that game was released and at high levels it doesn't matter at all.

It's generally accepted that all of the good players (aside from himself) were put into one pool. He had a free ride to grand finals, really.

BTW, loops are logical. Find moves that do the most damage with the least amount of (repeat) proration and you'll end up doing the most amount of damage possible. If you think loops are lame or fraudulent then you need to re-evaluate the way you think. Pretty much you're saying you can't use the same move twice in a combo.

Okay so here's why this is stupid.

If all they know how to do is loops, you're implying their neutral game is weak. So it's basically derp until they land a hit, confirm into loop, you die.

If their neutral game is so weak... why are you getting hit? Furthermore, where does this excuse stop working? What if you fight someone who does have good neutral game and then lands a loop on you for free? Is he still fraudulent because he used an optimized combo to beat your scrub ass?

If you think the only reason you're losing is loops, you're an idiot, plain and simple.

I've played 24+ hours of casuals, it's going to be fraudulent in America.

Sometimes I like to dash in DP multiple times and see how many times in a row I can hit.

Higeking, you are completely missing the point Circuitous is trying to establish. He's saying that you've oversimplifying the situation and emphasizing aspects that aren't as important, which by doing this, you're establishing a slippery slope that has no positive outcome.

A game that has a combo loops makes the game fraudulent? I'd have to say that if you're making this claim, then that is your problem, not the game's. I think you're cool and all but I gotta be real with you; this probably one of the dumbest claims I've heard on this forum about the game, especially Guilty Gear. That's not to say that no one can get away with fraudulent stuff in fighting games but to say a combo mechanic that relies on the player's execution is dumb, is something I wouldn't have expected coming from you.

I have to agree with this guy here. If you say you're losing to people who uses only loops and they suck, why aren't you exposing them? if you're that much of a better player, shouldn't you be able to see through the BS and expose them for it?

Now, lets have a look at the word "Fraud" here:

Fraud

Given to or using fraud, as a person; cheating; dishonest.

• Cheating: Last I checked, you couldn't cheat in a fighting game since there are set rules (There is breaking the game but I've only really seen that in Marvel, but that's on a whole other scope of things).
  
• Dishonest: There is some dishonest play coming from players in ANY fight game but dishonest play can be exposed since it's fraudulent.
  
• Dishonest advantage: It's a game where the conditions are set by the players, if you feel that the other person has a dishonest advantage over you then that is a problem on you as a player.
  
  Now let's go under some of the words in the definition of fraud:
  
  
  • Deceit: A tactic that is used to "conceal the truth" or "mislead the opponent" but can be exploited if you can read your opponent and take your time.
    
  • Trickery: Another tactic used to make your opponent think one way but you take advantage when you're misleading them which can also be exploited by patience and reading your opponent.
    
  • Sharp Practice: A law term used as another way to say ""Cunning" or "Sneaky". In FG's this puts you at an advantage against most players who aren't smart. Even so, the smarter or better player can see through sneaky tactics and expose them for it.
    
  • Breach of Confidence: Another law term that protects private information that is conveyed in confidence. doesn't fall in the use of FG's
    

  The above tactics listed fall under ALL fighting games so, to say that BlazBlue and Guilty Gear are "fraudulent" means you're saying that ALL fighting games are fraudulent because people use some of the tactics labeled here to their advantage against people but do get exposed by the better player in the end. If you say that you're the better or smarter player, why are you getting blown up by fraudulence?

  Maybe you should check your play before you jump on the bandwagon of using "fraudulence" as an excuse for getting blown up.

So there are characters that can't block now?

You got hit. It's your fault. If their neutral is bad you should be able to do a better job of reading it and not putting yourself in a position to get looped to death. If you can't do that, you're bad.
