The good news: After speaking to Henry, I got us a Guilty Gear tournament that I'll be running alongside his new series of Savage Saturday! We hope to return to our normal programming January as well as perhaps something else down the line.... Savage Saturdays @ Next Level Date: 12/17/2011 Location: Next Level 4013 8th Ave Brooklyn, NY 11232 (347) 618 - 8813 www.nycnextlevel.com Games: Xbox 360: SSF4 Arcade Edition 2012 Xbox 360: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Xbox 360: King of Fighters XIII PS2: Guilty Gear XXAC Gold, Shadow, and EX Characters are banned*. Kliff and Justice are banned. If on AC+ and you play Zappa and/or Robo-Ky, you may request an AC station. Time Table: Causal game play: 12pm-6pm Registration: 5pm-6pm UMVC3 brackets start at 6:00pm SSFE AE brackets start at 6:30pm KOF XIII brackets start at 7:00pm Guilty Gear XX AC brackets start at 7:00pm Format: -Double Elimination: Basic 2/3 games, 2/3 rounds (Winners, Losers and Grand finals are 3/5 games) Loser of the match can change character. We could even run it on 2 if necessary. I know you want a break from traveling, but thinking about playing for once?

TD Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 l may come out for gg. dai l want to ask a question about the setups. how would one go about getting a ps3 setup or setups into next level? l dont want to seem selfish or start anything dumb in here but l do feel like l need to ask as i'm very uncomfortable with anything but a ps3 pad. there are probably infinite reasons why xbox is used over ps3 at the tournies (l dont know much about xboxes or the scene really). however, is there any hope of eventually getting ps3 setups in, not so much as to make the tournies ps3 only but to have at least one ps3. and of course this assumes that enough people would even want this besides myself.

They have PS2->360 controller converters. Will that do? It's not mentioned in my post unlike my normal tournament posts since was copied from the tournament description.
TD Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 lts not the same, but l suppose l could give it another go next time l go to next level. it wouldnt hurt. last time l tried, there was an issue with the converter. but that's not a reason to never try it again. lol one more question, say l only came for gg casuals (not the tourny) and l stayed for about an hour. l would only have to pay for the hour l stayed right? l remember seeing an 'hourly rates' paper there, and l just wanted to know if that was still in effect. thanks

On a side note, how fucking hype would it be if Jump Ultimate Stars was a legit game?

See you misunderstand me, if Stickbug is the anime Godfather then Spooky is anime Jesus. He got his equipment seized for our sins viewing pleasure, I mean really now. I just assume Spooky will be other places or streaming other things, however many thanks to him for what he does. Also shoutouts to Next Level getting dat publicity, I just saw the video from getting tagged in it on Facebook.
