Deal with it. In other news, I have received my Dreamcast, VMU and Sonic Shuffle in the mail. Another addition to my retro collection. My dick is extremely happy.

That can still be debatable. 2 may have had improvements in the areas you listed, but I really liked the maps in 1. Not to say that the maps in 2 were bad (I liked both, in fact), but the argument can still be made.
