Most of us don't know how to use the Ky's FB, so why are we telling about "i'll use Lightning Javelin etc.". Okay, it can be an useful tool, but it can also be a ridiculous move. The second point deal with the VT loop. I agree with all of you, Arcsys wants to remove all the Loops. So, who does tell us that the VT Loop still remains? They will probably removes it, or it'll be like Baiken Loop, that requires tension. (maybe i'm wrong.) Otherwise, i agree, they have nerfed Ky too much. I'm OK with Stun Dipper, but not GS. They remove GS loop, this is a good things, but can we connect any move after it? I hope we could do a S > 2H > 623H... Well! Wasn't The name of Ky's IK in GG1 "Spike Voltage"? That was EChang translation of the DramaCD.

Well, my first character was Ky... i don't complain about Ky in Reload, but this one seems to be so... weak? Ky doesn't do much damage, even in Slash, he had just a good pressing and combo with 2H, but now... I won't rely in the FB and the new move after VT, i think they have done too much in order to tone down Ky. Well now, look at potemkin... just more and more gay. (I will stop to complain, but ky becomes so weak, i'm so sad >.<)
低姿勢 Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Ky might not be to bad, he just is totaly different, he has a FRC on every move he has now besides light saber, and RTL now. Its just a matter of getting use to them all, the japanese have already talked about combos like combo yadda yadda, sweep, fireball, FRC, to air combo that kinda stuff. Its unfortate but it just sounds like no ky is basicly a jobber, but with meter he at least has a ton of possiblities. Just a matter of having all that meter. Also the new FB move is supposedly good to, or well your only choice now that big fireball sucks so much ass. Anyway yea he sounds shitty, but like I said he has a frc on everything now more or less so hopefully there will be something good there....

LOCKDOWN rules :grin: 2.ky in AC does not have loops as the other chars dont! but thats a very good thing if u think bout it! no more loops means more worked combos! u cant do a GS loop but u can air combo after it cuz it has groundbound! No VT loop? who cares? dont think its very usefull! the only loop that I used was the GS loop and im not using it now cuz im preparing my self for AC! and its working now im improving my gameplay! u should do the same

I agree with you about the loop, it's better, but when you see somes chars like potemkin who is so gay (this is my opinion), i only want to have some stuff in order to fight fairly with them. Otherwise, about the damage, i don't think at all that Ky does so much damage, but, this is just my point of view! PS : Anyone got some videos of Ky in AC?

Im hoping for a nice Ky at AC maybe mid tier or top tier! dont really know and dont care much bout the tier stuff! but from what I saw and from the info I have, dont worry cuz Ky has much stuff that can turn him into a very solid char! so dont worry =D

There can be a time to use it, but really Ky, isnt about loops anymore since slash started. The VT loop? Maybe, like if they are in the cornor, but you cant do it to light characters because they can tech it after one VT. GS loops? =/ whatever play how ever you want, i have no idea how differently Ky will be and the changes that we as players will have to adapt to. And really, i dont care. Right now we play Slash and we dont really have to worry about AC for quite a while. I'll start reading AC Ky when there are some stone hard faqs about his new moves. If they are still beta testing then that probubly means that there will be more changes. that is all.
