PhaethonH Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 OK, so apparently it's more of an Employee's Day thing than Night, so I can make it to Gamecenter (probably by 7p). I'll be bringing a PS2 (console only), recording equipment, and one ps2 stick. The more sticks and consoles, the better.
takahiKUx2 Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I'd like to get in on these. I recently moved out here to the bay and am out of touch with fighting games, so some GGAC might help spark my (muscle) memory. Time to be a big scrub. :D
takahiKUx2 Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Not on the calendar, but I'll show up after work, why not. Should I bring another setup? Time to get schooled. Woooo.
ehuangsan Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) Anyone showing up today? EDIT: NVM, can't go today anyway. Edited February 10, 2012 by ehuangsan
andresakatito Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Oh dear God! Is this really held bi-weekly? Please say yes... and please tell me Guilty Gear ain't dead yet. If so the next one will be on my birthday.
Meowmix Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 So, question. The opening post says that these are bi-weekly...and then a couple lines down says it happens every friday. Which one is it?
ehuangsan Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I treat it as bi-weekly, although I think Fred shows up every Friday anyway.
andresakatito Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Alright so the first post says its $5 for the console setups and $7 for both console and console-arcade setups. Then after that it says $3 per hour for both setups. I've got a few questions bout that. 1. What is a console-arcade setup? Is that like console with fight sticks attached only? 2. Does that also mean that $5 console setup is for pads and sticks if you have one? 3. Lets say I pay the $7 to play on both, do I have to pay another $3 every hour after that first payment? That's the part that confused me the most. Please answer my questions if you can. Please. I'm really thinking about checking this place out.
qwerty Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Who's gonna be there today? I can actually come for once, lol.
STenSatsu Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 There a BART stop near gamecenter or southtown?
Dakanya Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 iirc STA is accessible by BART....? GC is right next to the Caltrain
takahiKUx2 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Can't make it this week, I'll be there in two weeks.
ehuangsan Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Too burned out this week, I'll probably go to the next one.
qwerty Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 It was just me, Philip and Sam; but, sometimes that's not a bad thing. Made me realize just how bad I am at fighting Millia with Johnny. That's what happens when you don't play a matchup for three years, lol.
PhaethonH Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Alright, let's do this. Tomorrow 3/23 at Gamecenter San Mateo.
geobuster Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I go to Southtown Arcade all the time via BART. Though it is 4-5 blocks from Powell station.
Dakanya Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Is anything going on this Friday? I may or may not decide to show up...
Kijiyama Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I'm down for something. It's been a while since I've actually had a Fri/Sat off.
