Mai was removing the poison from Shiori since Shiori got cut by her own poisoned kunai, tasting her blood and learning her past was an added side effect. Weird Shit: When Mai fought back against Shiori and Chachakaka, Mai was surrounded by lightning as if an ars magus had been activated, Mai's pupils turns rectangular and white and Shiori noted Mai was using "Kirihito assassination techniques".
