Matchups are readysteadyGO. So, SB3 is looking hella sweet, and I realize that we can finally do a 3v3 May vs ABA. FrankieTankie Shadowman (Jorge) Myself vs FunkDoc Moroha Damien You guys down for this? I'm not pushing money, I say either 5 bucks a head or none.

if youre doing may v aba, im sure sean (sh_) would at least be interested in participating on the aba side. ^_^ i look forward to seeing everyone and good luck to everyone in tourney. and make sure to take a look at the sb3 brackets.

ShinShadowMan, Kyle, FrankTheTank VS FunCdoc, Moroha, SH_ PhD of Funk > Jorge PhD of Funk > Kyle PhD of Funk < Matt Moroha > Matt Matt had Seth but F*d up a run buffer OHK. He ended up jumping on accident... he IB'd the burst and everything. Matt was undoubtedly our strongest force. Highlight was Jorge getting 3 KD's and whiffing a 6[HS]. Matt & I are like: o.0 WTF we talked about this bro. Good times everyone. Thanks for letting it happen.

Yeah, I posted that, and I still did 6H on wakeup! lol. Something that really bugs me about ABA though is how slow she wakes up. I had the problem of starting Oki too early and getting grabbed for it. Still, GGs to Josh and his lesson on Funcology!

did u guys tape this match? i want to see how ABA can beat may.

I mean, the advantages AB has in this match are kinda obvious. Range on the ground is totally in her favor, and it's hard to jump on her.

Hoops are the way to go here, along with baiting/punishing Danzai effectively. You either want to be far away with a hoop up, or directly in her face so that OHK is threatening her. At that point you pressure with JC-able normals, so that if she uses Danzai, you can see it, JC, and FD. Ideally you want to get the final knockdown with OHK, since when you do that the IK is completely unburstable (cuz u can't burst throws).

I'll post more on this when I get time to do so.

Ok on Mays move list, what is the neutral 6D after 1?

After a horizontal dolphin is released, input (6+D) to ForceBreak it. This turns it into a disjointed fireball rather than a cheap kamikaze tactic. =P

hey. What are you supposed to do after offensively FRC HS hoop? Run in and mixup? Or is there some trick i dont know about.

I was just thinkin about period, because I came up with a bullshit high/low mixup if they stand and block. High = 6[HS], FRC RR, Loop Low = 2K, 2D, FBSD, Loop Grab if they stay in place Jump in mixup, etc etc.

I have a question about May's [4],6S/HS FRC and the [2],8S/HS FRC (the ride the dolphin moves). What can you do after the FRC? XD Or is it just to cancel it to make the move more safe? I have one guess in mind. Are you suppose to use it with a jump-install to perform and extra-jump/air dash to continue May's momentum? If so, I suppose it makes sense then =P

SVD, FRC, J.HS, Land... = combo

akward air dash pressure is OK when mix'd up with FB-dolphins.

EX: K, S, FS, FBHSHD, K, 5FS, HSHD, FRC, AD, J.S, J.HS...whatever...

Vertical dolphins are auto jump installed unless they are special canceled from a non-jump-cancelable move.

EX:5P, HSVD, FRC, AirDash

EX:2S, HSVD, FRC, CAN'T AirDash

*Unless somebody had a JI stored from a while landing state*

It's easy to JI horizontal dolphins with the input trick:

EX: [1/4],9 S/HS, FRC = May will have a jump option

EX: [1/4],6 S/HS, FRC = May will NOT have a jump option

REAL LIFE GUYS-
