I don't have a team for the SBO qual either, and that's a hell of a journey to make if you don't have a solid team. I'll see you at Evo. Probably not MWC, but good luck there. (toronto's may) ARGH! im very annoyed at peoples interest to do the 6hs combo. Its dmg ratio is neglible compared to the BNB. its 100x hard to pull off the first dolphin loop (which yes makes it look cool) but if you drop it you just lost a 45-75% combo that is sooooo fing easy if u just stick to the BNB. If you want something hard as shit to learn but has a smugde of application learn RR FRC IAD from tigerknee input. (someone that is going to a tournament plz fiend practice this and WTF own in next tournament.)
cipher Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Hi, I'm sorry if this has been addressed before but I'm having trouble with the FRC air dash after HSVD. Even though I've jump installed, sometimes the air dash just doesn't come out. I've gotten it to work maybe 3 or 4 times but most of the time I simply can't air dash after the FRC. I made sure to jump install so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help me out?
Free Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 just make sure you are jump installing it every time....seems like if you can do it 3 or 4 times, you already know how. just takes a lot of practice to get the timing down 100% of the time.
NamelessCounter Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Your trying to hard to air dash is my guess and your not going back to neutral position inbetween 6 and 6. so instead of doing 656 ur doing something more like 6*hold* to the computer. Try to slow urself down and work on increasing ur speed incrementally untill you find the timing.
Kyle Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 You could try buffering the AirDash out of the FRC. Here are your input options: HSVD, FRC, 66 HSVD, 6, 6FRC HSVD, 6FRC, 6 All three work.. I personally do the last. So, try variations of these. If it's still not working, then the issue is your jump install. Even if you are correctly inputting 8, you still have to do it in a particular window. The game literally has to buffer a jump from a jump xcancelable move. Just keep that in mind. You'll be fine. =) Welcome aboard Cipher.

We have the ACT series still going strong, and I recently heard about some place called Game Universe, where they have casuals and tournaments. Going to see if they'll do GG. They're also going to have a big con in August (called GameUniCon. There are some decent anime con tournaments too. I got 2nd at Anime Central, and 1st at Anime Boston. I'll see you at Evo! Are people still playing this game? All the time.
