Let’s keep our beloved game alive and support the Final Round 15th anniversary by playing a game that helped make FR what it is. I hope to see all my good friends from the years there as well as hopefully some new blood. For the last few years, I haven't entered as I felt to rusty... but now that everyone is pretty rusty (save Steve H., best Ky ever ;_ I feel like entering again =D I might even practice a little. I'm hyped!! All of the main games are detailed in the above links. This thread will only be for Guilty Gear Singles. I will make the rules short and sweet and to the point. When: Friday, March 2nd at 1:00 PM Where: Alternate area (check http://www.finalround.org/) Rules: Standard Double elim, 2 out of 3 matches. Finals (winners, losers, and grand) will be 3 out of 5. No Gold, EX, Shadow characters, including Kliff and Justice. $10 dollar entry (See me, Jeff Heidern98 about signing up, I will be in the Alternate area once doors open) Prize money: 1st 70% of total pot 2nd 20% of total pot 3rd 10% of total pot Since there are so many games this year, Guilty Gear will be a side tournament. This however should not affect turnout and I encourage fans to sign up. Seeing as this is a side tournament, any help with PS2’s and copies of Guilty Gear would be very appreciated. We will be allotted space for the tourney as well as time and resources. We will be using Tio Tournament Organizer to plan and run this event. Heidern: I know you are pro, but, IMO, you should update the pre-reg list on the first post, and add a seperate list for current set-ups, please <3 Also, it would be cool if this thread was stickied, or added to the front page. Please add my sister and I to both lists, if possible. faultydefense Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 man i'd love to make it out to another FR, but i don't have a ps2 stick anymore and i got a shitload of "maybe's" to deal with next month If I see a lot of gear support and I can work out what roof I'll be living under next month in time then hopefully we can add another texas player. I think jan and kensou are goin so they'd prolly sign up at the door if the tourney wasn't at odd hours.

Do not use the online service anymore as this seems to be the main problem with people booking rooms for FRXV. Please call the following number and reserve your rooms for FRXV: Deanna Judkins : Sales Manager at The Westin 770-395-3902 Please call between 9am-4pm est Monday--Friday to reserve your room. If anyone has be told over the phone that the rooms for the Final Round group rate are sold out and was forced to reserve a room at another rate then please notify me and call Mrs. Judkins to get your reservation corrected. The good news is Kusoru will be at FRXV the whole weekend! Yea jeff i'm sure he will want to enter a GG tournament on friday so just add him to the list.

Sol-Bumguy Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 If anyone is uncertain of entering due to not having a PS2 stick, it should be fine-- I am certain that others will lend out their sticks when necessary; whethr you prefer Japanese style or American/Mas... Also, please bring set-ups, when possible. Only a few more days left to pre-register for FR15-- if you are only going to spectate, play casuals and enter Side Tournaments, then you only need to pay the venue fee, so please pre-register to save TIME and MONEY.
