Especially when the one fucking time I bait it correctly he doesn't react in time to hit my counter, I woulda got a counter if I had just j.2Ced that time. That really pisses me off lol, when people miss me/time their shit wrong, therefore they get rewarded. Probably the main reason I switched to Hazama. Doesn't his j.5d need to be timed after my AA goes out? lol hazama's 2C blows. his 5c is way better. I only use 2C in that very specific situation with that air-dash oki. Relius' 2C is godlike though. Even scores a Fatal for you. I have little patience with Tsubaki's auto-pilot, auto-correct, non-hit nonsense, too. Even if she completely misses, she can input 2C again and it'll automatically change the direction to the right way. I generally dislike things that are designed to make it easier lol (noel) Relius's 2c is just as bad. They block that/ you whiff, you're in a bad position.

He's just like Valkenhayn when Valkenhayn came out: absurdly broken damage and meter gain, but not much else. I can do 5k from 0 meter at midscreen on a 5A with relius. (not technically meterless cuz I'll gain 50 heat, but then use it) Honestly I feel like winning with Relius is just too easy. Like when I do win with him, it doesn't feel meaningful. As for him being too easy, it's probably just because nobody knows the matchup. I know I have no idea what's even happening on the screen half the time since I never really fought him. All the stuff I was doing against him the other night was pretty much random stabs in the dark.

He has not a single mashout, that's why he's bad. Led Ley is terrible for pressure and none of his distortions are good (even his gears one is so damn slow you can easily whiff an A and still block it). he can't even use his ignis distortions because he'll get countered before he can actually use them. I don't even think i can zone effectively with him ><

Oh, because the game will turn that into a ID.6A, that's why! You can combo for shit damage off of it. It's better used to set up cross-ups, you can also use it to shove an opponent all the way into the opposite wall from full-screen (way more beneficial then doing a crap combo). Obviously, if you're going to win the game you should just combo on it. 90% of the time you'll just trade (it has 0 invulnerability) instead and die. I'm having the same problem as last night, I'm hungry and my arms are shaky. 40 minutes left on my oven though lol, we'll probably be done by then. Edited December 15, 2012 by Ctrlaltwtf

I mean you're allowed to get it off (it's unstoppable) but if the opponent is doing ANY kind of attack you'll always trade, you'll never just cleanly win with it. It's just like SIR except without the godly follow up combo. The prob with his ignis dd's is you can't use them on oki if you're under pressure. You'll get countered before you can actually use it.

No matter what DD Relius uses on oki, Haku-men can just sit next to him and push D at his leisure during the super freeze. You can easily Fatal him right after it though. It's a fucking worthless oki move. It's designed for cross-ups/bait with Ignis. That's only when the game is listening to your inputs though. Obviously, it's a godly anti-Burst move as well. Although oddly enough you can just use Ignis' 6D and their burst will get ignored/won't hit Relius for some inexplicable reason. There's a lot of shit about Relius that doesn't make any sense. lmao at that land-canceled j.5B just to ensure I can't land a combo. Doesn't matter how well I play, something always happens.
