BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I thought Nemesis was going to run wild on us like a wolverine loose on xfc level 3 with berserker slash ftfy
toanenadiz Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 For shame. Dropping combos and putting all of the pressure on your teammate.
mAc Chaos Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I was just helping him unleash his burning spirit. I switched from the SNK style, even though that's my favorite type, since it looked like nobody was getting enough time to play and warm up. That's why Nemesis left.

It is a 6 man room. You aren't going to get much play time in it unless you are always winning.
abadlime Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 the problems with finishing the opponent. Twice. it can't be that hard to pull off a 236236 motion right... right? EDIT: there's a slot. ask mac.
mAc Chaos Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 All right time for some 1v1s to finish off the night. It didn't seem that bad. It is a 6 man room. You aren't going to get much play time in it unless you are always winning. Yeah, it's a trade off. In a normal 1v1 6 man room you could have a streak of playing but otherwise you get nothing. With the teams everybody plays at least once each match but you don't play any extra. I'll just have it be 1v1s now so we can get more matches in though before I sleep. Somehow it became 4 AM already. Ctrl I'll invite you, but watch out it's a 6 man room.
toanenadiz Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I find it almost impossible to pull off 236236D on the 360 pad now. Granted, I find lots of motions hard to pull off.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I find 236326 to be incredibly easy. Except when it actually matters.
mAc Chaos Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Screwing up my finisher has been happening a lot to me tonight. Kept going for Shippu and just standing there doing nothing. I blame not warming up. :3 I always start off weak and get stronger as the matches go on and I get warmed up and into the opponent's head. I noticed other people tend to be the other way around. Start off fresh and then get tired and careless later.

Lol I'm the same with hazama both for the "get in the opponent's head approach" and simply remembering how I'm supposed to execute crap on him xD I like how we kept changing our corner shenanigans when we did all those 1v1s. Not to mention the air-dash shenanigans.
mAc Chaos Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 (edited) Yeah, that's why I like playing people for long sets. Some people are afraid of others learning their style and catching on, but that's the point. What are you going to do in a tournament or something if somebody figures you out and you have no idea how to respond. You get fucked. But if you play like that all the time then you probably already have the counter to their counter to your counter figured out a long time ago. Plus it's fun. Although realistically, in a tournament most of the time they won't have enough time to learn the ins and outs of your style unless you played them before or they adapt fast. But just doing this stuff to improve yourself is worth it. Edited December 15, 2012 by mAc Chaos
toanenadiz Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 GGs guys. I won way too much with stupid stuff. Team matches are great.
mAc Chaos Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I got hype as hell when we started those Haku Lambda matches.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I feel like the only way to win against that kind of tsubaki is to just turtle like a complete asshole.
mAc Chaos Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 You mean badlime's? I rush him down all the time. If anything turtling lets him get tons of charges. Not that you can really stop them if you don't want to run face first into her 2C. Just have to be keeping them uncomfortable.

It gets really frustrating. Especially when the one fucking time I bait it correctly he doesn't react in time to hit my counter, I woulda got a counter if I had just j.2Ced that time. That really pisses me off lol, when people miss me/time their shit wrong, therefore they get rewarded. Probably the main reason I switched to Hazama.
mAc Chaos Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 That happens to me a lot. Everything goes according to plan, and then they screw up. Hazama has that same 2C bullshit though. All the post CT characters have stuff like that.

All the post CT characters have stuff like that. lol hazama's 2C blows. his 5c is way better. I only use 2C in that very specific situation with that air-dash oki. Relius' 2C is godlike though. Even scores a Fatal for you. I have little patience with Tsubaki's auto-pilot, auto-correct, non-hit nonsense, too. Even if she completely misses, she can input 2C again and it'll automatically change the direction to the right way. I generally dislike things that are designed to make it easier lol (noel)
